Para su elaboración tome:
- 3 rebanadas de pan de sándwich
- 1 huevo
- 1 taza de leche
- 1/2 taza de azúcar
- mantequilla para freír
- Lo primero que hice , fue batir la leche y el huevo, hasta que quedara una mezcla homogénea.
- Seguidamente corte las rebanadas de pan
en cuadros. - Coloque un sarten a fuego medio y añadí
3 cucharadas soperas de mantequilla , mientras tanto fui colocando los cuadros de pan en la mezcla de huevo y leche hasta que estuvieran bien empapados. - los dispuse en la sarten hasta que doraran.
- Finalmente los coloque en un plato y le añadí azúcar por encima ,, y listo !!! me deguste mis torrijas con sabor a Maita Carmen... acompañadas con un rico café.
Hello beautiful community ..!!!! ...today when I woke up as usual , I assembled my pot to make my long awaited coffee, and for breakfast I was not sure what to make , I realized that I still had some sandwich bread , egg and some milk ..and immediately I remembered a snack that my grandmother used to make when we went on vacation to Margarita Island... her famous torrijas. And as I adored her creative dishes since she would never I was not only making the original recipes, but I was making them in my own style, and these torrijas did not escape from her inventiveness, so I decided to make them with what I had.
For its preparation take:
- 3 slices of sandwich bread
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- butter for frying
- The first thing I did , was to beat the milk and the egg, until it was a homogeneous mixture.
- Then cut the bread slices into squares.

*- I placed a frying pan over medium heat and added *
3 tablespoons of butter, while I was placing the bread squares in the egg and milk mixture until they were well soaked.
- I placed them in the pan until they were golden brown.
- Finally I placed them on a plate and added sugar on top, and ready!!! I tasted my torrijas with Maita Carmen flavor .... accompanied with a delicious coffee.
