Como les conté en el post anterior, me gané dos concursos con mis amigas. Uno con @evelynchacin y @esthefanychacin en el cual ganamos franelas y CD’s de mi banda favorita: Rawayana y otro concurso con mi mejor amiga de la infancia en el que nos ganamos entradas a un concierto y la posibilidad de conocer a las bandas que estarían en el concierto.
As I told you in the previous post, I won two contests with my friends. One with @evelynchacin and @esthefanychacin in which we won t-shirts and CDs of my favorite band: Rawayana and another contest with my best childhood friend in which we won tickets to a concert and the possibility of meeting the bands that would be in the concert.
Nos fuimos a Caracas 3 días antes de la fecha del concierto y apenas llegamos fuimos a las oficinas de Doritos, quienes eran los responsables de dicho concierto. Al llegar tuve que mostrar mi cédula de identidad para probar que era yo la ganadora y nos dieron nuestros boletos.
We went to Caracas 3 days before the date of the concert and as soon as we arrived we went to the offices of Doritos, who were responsible for the concert. Upon arrival I had to show my identity card to prove that I was the winner and they gave us our tickets.
El día del concierto, mi prima nos llevó al Centro Comercial Sambil que era donde se llevaría a cabo el mismo. Al llegar, nos dieron unos pases VIP e ingresamos al área donde estaba la tarima. Al comenzar el concierto el primer grupo en tocar fue Rawayana, no puedo describir la emoción que sentí al verlos en vivo y al terminar su show, pasamos al Backstage para conocerlos.
On the day of the concert, my cousin took us to the Sambil Shopping Center, which was where the concert would take place. Upon arrival, they gave us VIP passes and we entered the area where the stage was. At the beginning of the concert the first group to play was Rawayana, I cannot describe the emotion I felt when seeing them live and at the end of their show, we went to the Backstage to meet them.
Recuerdo los nervios que ambas sentíamos al entrar al Backstage a conocer a estos genios de la música venezolana, todos los integrantes de Rawayana nos firmaron nuestros CD's y pudimos conversar con ellos unos minutos. También firmaron las franelas que me había ganado junto a @evelynchacin y @esthefanychacin, premios que por supuesto compartí con ellas y lo mejor de todo: autografiados. Los chicos fueron super amables. El baterista de Rawayana usó mi espalda como mesa para firmar las franelas jajaja.
I remember the nerves we both felt when entering the Backstage to meet these geniuses of Venezuelan music, all the members of Rawayana signed our CDs and we were able to talk with them for a few minutes. They also signed the t-shirts that I had won together with @evelynchacin and @esthefanychacin, prizes that of course I shared with them and best of all: autographed. The guys were super nice. The Rawayana drummer used my back as a table to sign the flannels hahaha.
Luego de esto volvimos al área de la tarima y vimos la maravillosa actuación de Desorden Público, son unos genios, su música alegra y entusiasma a cualquiera. Al terminar el show de esta banda, volvimos a ingresar al Backstage y pudimos conocer a los integrantes de ella, son muchísimos, son como 9 personas, todos muy amables. También firmaron mi CD.
After this we went back to the stage area and saw the wonderful performance of Desorden Público, they are geniuses, their music makes anyone happy and excited. At the end of this band's show, we re-entered the Backstage and we were able to meet the members of it, they are many, they are like 9 people, all very friendly. They also signed my CD.
Finalmente tocaron los chicos de Caramelos de Cianuro. Adoro esta banda también y como lo mencioné antes es la banda favorita de mi mejor amiga. Ella estaba demasiado emocionada, lloraba y gritaba jajajaja. Recuerdo que cuando llegó el momento de entrar a conocerlos ella solo repetía que quería abrazar y besar al vocalista de la banda Asier Cazalis. Nosotras dos no habíamos sido las únicas ganadoras de ese Meet & Greet, también muchos otros fanáticos estaban ahí, sobre todo por esta banda y es por ello que el conocerlos a ellos fue mucho más limitado. Tuvimos que entrar con otras dos chicas y nos dieron un minuto con ellos nada más. Yo dejé que mi amiga se fuera con el vocalista pues era su sueño abrazarlo y así lo pudo hacer. Por mi parte conocí a los otros integrantes de la banda y el guitarrista conocido como El Enano firmó mi CD.
Finally the guys from Caramelo de Cianuro played. I love this band too and as I mentioned before it is my best friend's favorite band. She was too excited, crying and screaming hahahaha. I remember when it came time to get to know them, she just repeated that she wanted to hug and kiss the lead singer of the band Asier Cazalis. We two had not been the only winners of that Meet & Greet, also many other fans were there, especially for this band and that is why meeting them was much more limited. We had to go in with two other girls and they gave us just one minute with them. I let my friend go with the vocalist because it was her dream to hug him and she was able to do so. For my part, I met the other members of the band and the guitarist known as El Enano signed my CD.
Además de estos maravillosos momentos, las personas de Doritos nos trataron genial, nos dieron franelas, nos regalaron doritos, agua, refresco y hasta nos dieron un perro caliente a cada una. Siempre recuerdo este día como uno de los días más felices de mi vida, no solo cumplí un sueño, sino que lo hice con mi amiga de toda la vida y ella también pudo cumplir el suyo, fue el momento perfecto. Y el concierto estuvo genial.
In addition to these wonderful moments, the people of Doritos treated us great, they gave us flannels, they gave us doritos, water, soda and they even gave us a hot dog each. I always remember this day as one of the happiest days of my life, not only did I fulfill a dream, but I did it with my lifelong friend and she was also able to fulfill hers, it was the perfect moment. And the concert was great.
Finalmente quiero decir que extraño esta Venezuela. Donde se realizaban shows tan geniales como este, espero pronto podamos volver a estos momentos.
Finally I want to say that I miss this Venezuela. Where great shows like this were held, I hope we can return to these moments soon.
