En esta ocasión, vengo a sumarme a la iniciativa de la hiver @veronicamartinc por medio de la invitación de mi querida amiga @annafenix. Donde nos invitan a compartir 3 refranes tradicionales y su interpretación. Sin mas paso a compartir los mas utilizados en mi familia y su significado.
1- "Mas vale pájaro en manos, que cien volando"
Este refrán lo utiliza mucho mi mamá cuando ve que una persona desaprovecha una oportunidad o algo que le ofrezcan y lo rechace, o que se espere algo y al final no sea lo esperado pero es lo que esta, como quien dice es lo que esta disponible, entonces ella a modo de consuelo te suelta este dichoso refrán.

2- "Al que a buen Árbol se Arrima, Buena sombra lo Cobija"
Esta expresión era muy usada por mi abuelita, cuando nos aconsejaba acerca de las buenas compañías y sus beneficios. Que si andabas con personas trabajadoras, de palabra emprendedoras, tú ibas a estar por buen caminos, pues también lo bueno, se contagiaba no solo lo malo.

3- "Quedarse sin el Chivo y sin el mecate"
Este refrán se dice en nuestra familia cuando, alguien andaba en dos negociaciones al mismo tiempo o relaciones de cualquier índole generalmente amorosa y por andar queriendo ganar oportunidades extras, no se le daban ninguna de las dos cosas, entonces aquí aplica esta oración, en pocas palabras sin una cosa ni la otra.

A lo largo de mi vida como lo he comprobado todos estos refranes, que no son mas que grandes consejos, resumidos en cortas oraciones, son parte de nuestras creencias, nuestras costumbres, nuestro sentir como venezolanos, muy jocosos, pero llenos de una sabiduría ancestral, que nos ha marcado a todos de alguna manera u otra, vena venezolana, transmitida de generación en generación. Eso son los refranes para nosotros.

1- "Better a bird in the hand, than a hundred flying"
This saying is used a lot by my mom when she sees that a person misses an opportunity or something that is offered and rejects it, or that something is expected and in the end it is not what is expected but it is what is, as who says it is what is available, then she as a consolation lets you loose this blessed saying.
2- "Whosoever is of good cheer, good shade shall he shelter under a good tree"
This expression was very much used by my grandmother, when she advised us about good company and its benefits. That if you walked with hard-working people, enterprising word, you were going to be on the right track, because also the good, not only the bad was contagious.
3- "Running out of Goat and Rope"
This proverb is said in our family when, someone was in two negotiations at the same time or relationships of any kind usually love and walking wanting to win extra opportunities, were not given neither of the two things, then here applies this sentence, in a nutshell without one thing or the other.
