Again that day of the month when my wife goes to the hairdresser. That means a walk in a park that I really like. A unique park in my city and I think in the whole country. It is called Circus Park and is relatively far from home. It is positioned approximately in the center of the city, it is not a big park but it has a pond in the middle. The pond is full of lotuses. Lotuses that are blooming now!
What I see in this park seems unreal to me and I don't think it really exists. Lotuses are not flowers specific to the Romanian climate.
But lotuses are not my subject now. I follow the habit of writing something about shopping, about what can be bought with money, because this activity of buyers occupies a good part of our lives.
Friday shopping or as it is known here, #MarketFriday is a challenge invented and supported by @dswigle, Denise! Here I think there may be a contradiction, as far as I know, and I could understand from her posts, Denise is a woman with a rare quality. Temperance! Temperance is hard to try when we enter a store.
My wife's hairstyle takes about an hour when I have time to do a few things alone.
I drink a cappuccino, walk through the park I talked about, photograph everything that moves and more and visit a very small flower shop.
With this florist, I manage to get closer to the theme of Friday, because I can't leave without buying something. Never!
It is often difficult to bring customers to the store and it is easier to take the goods to the street. The best and cheapest marketing! Every passer-by becomes a potential buyer.
The flowers placed on light shelves are much easier to see, both on the sidewalk and by the drivers of cars passing on the boulevard.
I am delighted with this display of flowers and I like to look at them quietly and leisurely, succulent plants ...

Tradition requires me to always buy something and now I was a little disoriented, I liked everything and I didn't know what to choose. I had some reluctance because autumn is near and I thought there was not enough time for these flowers. Fortunately, I searched and went to the central area.
There is a banana tree on the table. I always wanted to buy such a tree, but I was reminded that I have to keep it in the house in winter and it will probably grow a lot, so much so that I will not have a place to stay. Then I had a surprise ...
... I found a myrtle! A little myrtle. That's what I wanted even more and for a long time. I have a fascination for plants and flowers that grow around the Mediterranean, in my favorite climate, the Mediterranean climate. That was my capture this time.
I am so happy! I am now looking forward to spring again when my little myrtle will blossom. I read that it also has a special scent!
It was a very pleasant walk and visit the flower shop, I found the one that I would enjoy and that would be a memory for this day. In a month I will be in this park and in this flower shop again.
Of course, as a day dedicated to shopping, I also went to the market to buy eggplant and bell peppers. For the salad. Baked eggplant salad with baked bell peppers. The best salad is made from grilled eggplant and peppers, over a wood fire.
I will talk about this salad another time, I don't want to bore the reader now and to consume all the time allocated to reading.

Hibiscus also from this florist. I did not buy, because I have hibiscus at home, but I could not stop admiring this flower, delicate and strong at the same time.
