Greetings from this end to you all this beautiful morning.

Sometimes ago, I made a dress with this velvet material and I had some left over though not much so I decided to use the remaining material for my little niece.

I made it very simple by cutting out the bodice measurement without fittings and when the fabric was not enough, I used a green satin material to cut out the sleeves and also made a bow and attached to the front to make it beautiful.

Below are the pictorial view of the process.

The velvet material was folded in four to cut out the armhole,neckline and the bodice using the bust measurement plus 2" to the full length of the top.

After cutting out the sleeves,it was attached to the bodice

This is the finished top and i made a bow and attached it to the front bodice.
