Yes as you reading the title the Transport Minister of India has promised that he is actively investing his time and effort in making India Petrol Free within 5 Years. This sounds like a very very Bold Statement even considering Nitin Gadkari's Stature and I know he is very much invested in removing Petrol from the Streets of India but the Timeline doesn't seem possible in my opinion. I want this to happen badly as the temperatures are killing people here in India and I would really love of we become close to Carbon Neutral.
Personally I feel like this achievement will take time but I am very very glad that Nitin Gadkari is actively putting in the research so that they could either achieve sustainable Electric Vehicles either via Battery Insertion or via the Hydrogen Engine inclusion. Let's see how long this takes for us in India.
