If you are from India then you might know that the Laws around flying drones were pretty strict and most of the time a lot of the laws were not even known by us. If that was not bad the paperwork that needed to be done for just flying and fooling around with your Drone was longer than SAT's. That was the reason a lot of guys in India stayed away from Drones as chances were high that we could get in trouble. But it seems that the Indian Government are giving us Drone enthusiasts some slight relief as they review the Drone Laws again.
So for starters the form that you need to fillup for flying a Drone has been significanly reduced and the fees we need to pay has also been reduced a lot. The government has also said that they will make a Map highlighting Red, Green and Yellow zones for Drone flying which will make it easier for us to fly drones safely and not get in trouble. For green zone you do not need a permeiision and the yellow zone will be close to Airports and the Red is a strict no flying zone.
The law around fines has also been reviewed and lowere down a lot. All in all this has been a good news for people like me that always wanted to buy a drone as now I can look forward to buying one without getting into trouble.
