José Gregorio es un lindo niño de 10 años de edad, desde que estaba en la barriga de su mamá fue diagnosticado con Espina bífida, enfermedad que le impide usar sus piernas y le toca andar en una silla de rueda. A pesar de su discapacidad es un niño alegre, cariñoso, muy dulce, es un niño querido por todos aquellos que tienen la oportunidad de conocerlo, ha sido operado múltiples veces, conoció un quirófano desde los 7 días de nacido, constantemente amerita estudios costosos y está comunidad del cumanagoto prepara este tipo de eventos para recaudar fondos para aportarle a sus padres parte del costo, en estos momento necesita una silla de rueda, la que tiene ya está deteriorada.
