Today memories from Ocna Sugatag, a municipality in Maramureș in north-western Romania. The town is especially famous for its salt baths. I have already found out that the village was first mentioned 1355 in a document on the land allocation of Maramureș. For a long time, mines in front of the village they have here mined for table salt, most of which was sold on at that time. Today, the mines are closed and the underground salt is used in the many salt baths.
Imagine you can't stand up in the water, the salt floats you up, very strong salt content, you have to be careful not to drip in your eyes. Very funny but also healthy. Are belived to have potential health benefits, including skin improvement and respiratory relief.
Everything is also very well organized for lying around, eating and having a drink.
Thanksfor stopping by, have a great day!
