Mi nombre es Celia García, natural Cumaná, ciudad capital del estado Sucre, Venezuela, nacida el 08 de octubre de 1958, edad 62 años, casada, la primera de 8 hermanas, y con la bendición de aún tener a mis padres vivos.
Soy madre de 4 hijos, abuela de 6 hermosos nietos, de profesión docente jubilada.
Foto con mi familia completa, con mi nieto menor en brazos / Photo with my entire family, with my youngest grandson in my arms.Desde muy niña me enamoré del arte de la confección de prendas de vestir observando a mi abuela materna hacerlo y fue en ese entonces cuando me inicié en este hermoso mundo realizando mi propia ropa, después, la de mis allegados, en especial la de mi núcleo familiar y, en ocasiones, para ayudar al ingreso familiar.
Para mi el coser forma parte de mi vida diaria. Soy autodidacta, ya que no realicé cursos relacionados con este arte. Realizo los patrones en papel, los cuales confecciono y me aligero el trabajo.
Mis máquinas son mis amigas, ya que las veo como ayudantes en este maravilloso mundo de la confección.
Doy gracias a @semillasdeamor por haberme invitado a pertenecer a esta maravillosa comunidad en la cual podré exponer mis creaciones, que incluirán prendas de vestir, íntimas, juveniles, infantiles, para adultos, y todo lo que tenga relación con corte y confección, así como de las respectivas guías para que ustedes también puedan realizarlas en sus propios hogares, ya que mi alegría será que otros puedan heredar este bello arte.
My name is Celia García, born in Cumaná, capital city of Sucre State, Venezuela, on October 8, 1958, age 62, married, the first of 8 sisters, and blessed to still have my parents alive.I am a mother of 4 children, grandmother of 6 beautiful grandchildren, retired teacher.
Since I was a child I fell in love with the art of sewing clothes watching my maternal grandmother doing it and it was then when I started in this beautiful world making my own clothes, then, those of my relatives, especially those of my family and, sometimes, to help the family income.
For me, sewing is part of my daily life. I am self-taught, since I did not take any courses related to this art. I make patterns on paper, which I make up and lighten my work.
My machines are my friends, as I see them as helpers in this wonderful world of clothing.
I am grateful to belong to this wonderful community in which I will be able to expose my creations, which will include clothing, intimate, youth, children, adults, and everything related to cutting and sewing, as well as the respective guides so that you can also make them in your own homes, as my joy will be that others can inherit this beautiful art.
