Creation of Mr. @tibfox & Schanzenbäckerei

It has already been a month since we were lucky enough to enjoy this super event and yet I feel that it has been much longer since we were all together. A feeling that only makes me think about how much I would like to have a similar experience again, to share and learn together with other members of the community.
I am still delighted with the outcome of the event. A meet-up that felt very warm and close, a gathering of friends rather than a convention of strangers. I think that much of the merit that everything felt like this, was the great organization and various aspects contemplated by @tibfox to allow attendees to interact without much protocol in different scenarios that lent itself to very relaxed conversations.
But today I want to grab the chance that our host has started to share the videos of the afternoon of presentations about the blockchain, which we had in Hauss 73*, to show how we enjoyed the event also through the food, which was very present in every activity.
Before we get into the delicious world of food, I want to comment about how nice the venue was chosen for the conferences. I know that the whole panning was a bit delayed due to technical problems related to connectivity and internet, but as for the experience as an attendee, I can say that the atmosphere was very comfortable to have a room just for us during the event, which also had a bohemian vibe that was very interesting.
Ya ha pasado un mes desde que tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar de este súper evento y, sin embargo, siento que ha pasado muchísimo más tiempo desde que estuvimos todos reunidos. Sensación que solo me llena de ánimos para pensar en cuanto me gustaría volver a tener una oportunidad similar, para compartir y aprender junto a otros miembros de la Comunidad.
Yo sigo pletórica con el resultado del evento. Un meet up que se sintió muy cálido y cercano, una reunión entre amigos más que una convención de desconocidos. Creo que gran parte del mérito que todo se haya sentido así, fue la gran organización y diversos aspectos contemplados por @tibfox para permitirnos a los asistentes interactuar sin mucho protocolo y en diversos escenarios que se prestaban a conversaciones muy relajadas.
Pero hoy quiero aprovechar la oportunidad de que nuestro anfitrión ha comenzado a compartir los vídeos de la tarde de presentaciones sobre la blockchain, que tuvimos en Hauss 73*, para mostrar cómo disfrutamos del evento también a través de la comida, que estuvo muy presente en cada actividad.
Antes de adentrarnos en el delicioso mundo de la comida, quiero comentar lo agradable que resultó ser el lugar elegido para las conferencias. Sé que todo el panning se retrasó un poco por problemas técnicos relacionados con la conectividad e internet, pero en cuanto a la experiencia como asistente, puedo decir que el ambiente era muy cómodo al tener una plata solo para nosotros durante el evento, que además contaba con un aire bohemio que resultaba muy interesante.

In addition to that, the decoration added for our meetup was great. Finding the posters and some artworks in NFT format from artists in Hive was a very interesting way to materialize our virtual world, beyond getting to know each other, we were surrounded by tangible elements that represented Hive everywhere and that made me very excited!
It was a pity that the delay due to technical issues meant that we had to do without the proposals that had been prepared to acquire the posters or the NFTs that were there. In the end we did not discuss whether we would do some sort of donation, auction or purchase of them.
Here I share just three of the NFTs that were on display that day, just a small sample of the great talent that surrounded us. I allowed myself to include the link to which we could access each artwork using the QR code.
Además de ello, la decoración añadida con motivo de nuestro meetup resultó genial. Encontrar los carteles y algunas obras de arte en formato NFT de artistas en Hive me precio una forma muy interesante de materializar nuestro mundo virtual, más allá de conocernos, estábamos rodeados de elementos tangibles que representaban a Hive por todos lados y eso a mí me emociono mucho!
Fue una lástima que el retraso por los temas técnicos hizo que tuviésemos que prescindir de las propuestas que se habían preparado para adquirir los carteles o los NFTs que estaban allí. Al final no discutimos si haríamos una especie de donación, subasta o compra de ellos.
Aquí comparto solo tres de los NFTs que estaban expuestos ese día, tan solo una pequeña muestra del gran talento que nos rodeaba. Me he permitido incluir el enlace al que podiamos acceder a cada arte gracias al código QR.
But I have to admit that I was most excited to see the Hive flags arranged on either side of the event's logo projection. It filled me with joy to see that I had actually been able to attend, and that I was also right where and when I wanted to be.
So that there would be no doubt, our host moved from one place to another, while he was in charge of a thousand other things, with a bag full of ID cards with the name of each participant, handing out each time he could the one that corresponded to the users that were arriving at the different points of the event.
And before we sat down, all very attentive during the hours of symposium that awaited us, we were introduced to the varied catering prepared almost entirely by tibfox.
Admittedly, he took great care to accommodate a wide range of tastes, so that all of us present had something to enjoy.
We had more than enough time for a leisurely lunch while the technical difficulties were being solved, about an hour and a half. So I spent a good while contemplating all the options available, asking about some things I didn't know about and deciding which items I was going to try first.
We had at our disposal an interesting variety of breads and cheeses, this was what caught my attention the most, mainly because I am a big fan of German bread, I really like how different it can be from what I am used to.
As for the cheese, I only spotted one of German origin. I had tried it a long time ago in the south of the country, so I found it interesting to get it here again, because I had no idea how I could find it again.
I'm talking about Harzer Käse, a cheese that attracts one's attention for having a very curious texture, quite soft and a peculiar flavor. At the time, I thought that it contained some other element besides cheese and that it was seasoned with anise, when I perceived some dark dots in the mixture. I discovered that its texture is due to the ripening process of a base with a very low percentage of fat. As for the curious flavor, it is caused by the cumin, an element that I did not expect to get as an ingredient in a German cheese, it has been an interesting discovery and within its strange nature, I managed to enjoy it a lot and repeat small bites with different combinations.
Pero he de reconocer que lo que más me entusiasmó fue ver las banderas con el logo de Hive dispuestas a cada lado de la proyección del logo del evento. Me llenó de alegría ver que había podido acudir realmente, y que además estaba justo en el lugar y el momento en el que deseaba estar.
Para que no quedara dudas alguna, nuestro anfitrión se paseaba de un lugar a otro, mientras se encargaba de mil cosas más, con una bolsa llena de carnets con la identificación de cada participando, entregando cada vez que podía la que correspondía a los usuarios que iban llegando a los diferentes puntos del evento.
Y antes de que nos sentáramos, todos muy atentos durante las horas de simposio que nos esperaban, fuimos introducidos al variado catering que preparó casi en su totalidad tibfox.
Hay que reconocer que se esmeró en complacer una gran parte de gustos, para que todos los presentes tuviésemos algo que disfrutar.
Tuvimos más que suficiente tiempo para comer con tranquilidad mientras se solucionaban las dificultades técnicas, alrededor de hora y media. Así que me dedique un buen rato a contemplar todas las opciones disponibles, a preguntar sobre algunas cosas que desconocía y a decidir qué cosas eran las primeras que iba a probar.
Teníamos a nuestra disposición una interesante variedad de panes y quesos, esto fue lo que más llamó mi atención, principalmente porque soy muy fan del pan alemán, me gusta mucho lo diferente que puede ser al que estoy acostumbrada.
En cuanto al queso, solo localicé uno de origen alemán. Lo había probado hace mucho tiempo en el sur del país, por lo que me pareció interesante conseguirlo aquí de nuevo, porque no tenía ni idea de cómo podía encontrarlo otra vez.
Me refiero al Harzer Käse, un queso que llama su atención por tener una textura muy curiosa, bastante suave y un sabor muy curioso. En su momento, pensé que contenía algún otro elemento además del queso y que estaba condimentado con anís, al percibir unos puntitos oscuros en la mezcla. He descubierto que su textura se debe al proceso de maduración de una base con un porcentaje de grasa muy bajo. En cuanto al curioso sabor, es causado por el comino, un elemento que no me esperaba conseguir como base de un queso alemán, ha sido un descubrimiento interesante y dentro de su extraña naturaleza, conseguí disfrutarlo mucho y repetir pequeños bocados con distintas combinaciones.

A great lunch!
But there were options for all tastes, fruits, olives and different vegetables that I was delighted to find, because they gave an interesting touch to the tapas that I decided to create for my tasting of the menu that was offered. I am a fan of arugula, so I was delighted to find a huge bowl full of it. Some of our fellow vegans and vegetarians also found interesting options, not having major concerns, something that we have to recognize to tibfox I think it's great that he has thought of everyone, it is a gesture that sometimes in Spain could fail.
The other thing that I found very interesting to try was one of the spreads, it seemed at first glance a liver pate, but it turned out to be a very light vegetable cream with red fruit flavor, I think. I loved it, I don't know exactly what it's called but it was very good. Ah! The selection of olives was also great, I liked them all.
I struggled a bit when serving myself the first course, I wanted to have a bit of everything on hand to see what I liked the most and then repeat xD something I did with less plating details, and that I repeated many times hahaha so much so that I was one of those pointed out by tibfox to go to the corner of those who were still eating when the talks started. Oops.
This beautiful plate of improvised tapas was conceived from the beginning to make this post. So obviously I took some time, before tasting everything, to take some photos that would do justice to the effort of our host. That moment did not go unnoticed in the midst of so many bloggers and the comments about it were not long in coming.
Also some Hivers tried to help creating a background for the photo that gave a more explicit understanding of the place we were in, including my #BuzzParty2024 ID, the magazine from the previous #HiveFest given to us by the guys from @hiq.magazine and, as a contribution from @arcange, his business card as a developer of the #Hive blockchain. Pretty modest of him. xD
On top of that, there was a fun moment when @artakush and @louis88 came up to show me, according to them, how a real pro photographer would take a perfect photo of that dish. Maybe one more accurately than the other, being in a battle between a cell phone camera and a DSLR. I'd love to see each other's results! We all had a good laugh, because of the spontaneity of the joke.
Pero había opciones para todos los gustos, frutas, aceitunas y diferentes vegetales que me encantó powder encontrar, pues le daban un toque interesante a las tapas que decidí crear para mi degustación del menú que nos ofrecían. Yo soy fan de la rúcula, así que me gusto mucho encontrarme un enorme bowl lleno de ella. Algunos de nuestros compañeros veganos y vegetarianos también encontraron opciones interesantes, sin tener mayor preocupación, algo que hay que reconocerle a tibfox me parece genial que haya pensado en todos, es un detalle que a veces en España podría fallar.
Lo otro que me pareció muy interesante de probar fue una de las cremas para untar, parecía a simple vista un paté de hígado, pero resultó ser una crema vegetal muy ligera y con sabor a frutos rojos, creo. Me encantó, no sé exactamente cómo se llama pero estaba muy buena. ¡Ah! La selección de aceitunas también estuvo genial, me gustaron todas.
Yo me esforcé un poco al servirme el primer plato, quería tener un poco de todo a mano para ver que era lo que más me gustaba y después repetir xD algo que hice con menos detalles de emplatado, y eso que repetí muchas veces jajaja tanto que fui una de las señaladas por tibfox para irnos al rincón de los que seguíamos comiendo cuando empezaron las charlas. Oops.
Este bonito plato de tapas improvisadas fue concebido desde un principio para hacer este post. Así que obviamente me tomé un momento, antes de probarlo todo, para sacar unas fotos que le hicieran justicia al esfuerzo de nuestro anfitrión. Ese momento no pasó desaparecido en medio de tantos bloggers y los comentarios al respecto no se hicieron esperar.
También algunos Hiver intentaron ayudar a crear un fondo para la foto que diera a entender de forma más explicita el lugar en el que estábamos, incluyéndo mi ID de la #BuzzParty2024 , la revista del anterior #HiveFest que nos regalaron los chicos de @hiq.magazine y, como aporte de @arcange , su tarjeta de negocio como desarrollador de la blockchain de #Hive.Muy modesto él.
Además de ello, hubo un divertido momento en el que @artakush y @louis88 se acercaron para demostrarme, según ellos, como un verdadero profesional de la fotografía haría una foto realmente buena de ese plato. Quizá alguno con más precisión que el otro, estando en una batalla entre la cámara de un teléfono móvil y una DSLR. ¡Me encantaría ver los resultados de cada uno! Todos nos reímos mucho, por lo espontáneo de la broma.
Speeches
So while some of us continued eating, we started the 4 hours of talks about Hive for which most of us signed up for this adventure. I'm not going to go into details because I think it's great that through the @buzzparty account we will start to have at hand the recording of each of the presentations, so I recommend to be attentive to their publications in the coming weeks if you want to go deeper into the topics that were discussed.
What I will point out is that we had several types of speakers, all of them talked about very valuable things and with a lot of enthusiasm, although I found it interesting to see the corporal expression of each one of them.
Some were a bit more serious and conveyed the passion and determination with which they defended their projects and the importance of all of us getting more involved in blockchain. Others were more relaxed, calmly explaining the topics they had prepared for us. The last couple seemed to me the most energetic and emotional, with a powerful speech that helped us to wake up from the concentration with the previous talks and to keep the mood up both at the beginning and at the end of the event.

Así que mientras algunos continuábamos comiendo, dimos inicio a las 4 horas de charlas sobre Hive por las que la mayoría nos apuntamos en esta aventura. No voy a entrar en detalles porque me parece genial que por medio de la cuenta de @buzzparty vamos a comenzar a tener a mano la grabación de cada una de las presentaciones, así que recomiendo estar atentos a sus publicaciones las próximas semanas si quieres adentrarse mas en los temas que se trataron.
Lo que si voy a apuntar es que contamos con varios tipos de exponentes, todos hablaron de cosas muy valiosas y con mucho entusiasmo, aunque me pareció interesante ver la expresión corporal de cada uno.
Algunos estaban un poco más serios y transmitían la pasión y decisión con la que defendían sus proyectos y la importancia de que todos nos involucremos más en la blockchain. Otros fueron más del estilo relajado, explicando con mucha calma los temas que habían preparado para nosotros. El ultimo par me pareció de los más enérgicos y emotivos, con una potencia de discurso que nos ayudó mucho a despertar de la concentración con las charlas anteriores y de mantener arriba el animo tanto al principio como al final del evento.

Sweet side
But hey, even though we were there for a long time listening and discussing very interesting ideas, we didn't fail to take advantage of the minutes between each of the presentations to continue enjoying the catering, because in addition to all of the above, tibfox made sure we didn't miss the sweet side.
I discussed at length in a >> previous post << the love I unfolded during this visit to Hamburg for franzbrötchen and how much the Schanzenbäckerei bakery had to do with our event.
I know I wasn't the only one excited about the dessert part and I'm also sure @anna-newkey can attest to that, besides the nice conversations we had that day, I'm sure this bun has united us strongly hahaha so I share with you a picture of the two of us with the happiness we had just before saying goodbye that day.
I don't forget that we also enjoyed an amazing @coldbeetrootsoup that day but I have a lot to say about that and will save it for the next post.
Pero ¡hey! aunque estuvimos ahí mucho rato escuchando y debatiendo ideas muy interesantes, no dejamos de aprovechar los minutos entre cada una de las presentaciones para continuar disfrutando del catering, porque además de todo lo anterior, tibfox se encargó de que no extrañáramos la parte dulce.
Hablé detenidamente en un >> post anterior << de el amor que desarrollé durante esta visita a Hamburg por los franzbrötchen y lo mucho que tuvo que ver la panadería Schanzenbäckerei con nuestro evento.
Sé que no fui la única emocionada por la parte de los postres y también tengo por seguro que @anna-newkey puede dejar constancia de ello, además de las agradables conversaciones que mantuvimos ese día, estoy segura que este panecillo nos ha unido fuertemente jajaja así que dejo con muestra una foto de nosotras dos con la felicidad que teníamos justo antes de despedirnos ese día.
No me olvido que ese día también disfrutamos de una increíble @coldbeetrootsoup peeeeero, a ese respecto tengo mucho que decir y lo dejará para la próxima entrada.

Well yeah folks, we ate a lot in Hamburg, if this is something that could worry anyone, let it be known that anything organized by the great @tibfox will guarantee you almost unlimited food hahaha he really went out of his way to make sure that most of these expenses were sponsored by @valueplan and I can guarantee that in this event, the distribution of the sponsorship was very well managed and clarified at every point.
In addition to that, we cannot fail to acknowledge, even if it is reiterated, the effort and commitment shown by tibfox at all times, during every aspect related to the Hamburg BuzzParty 2024 and with very little help.
You are a very committed person, loyal to your beliefs and with a charming smile that has managed to show us the genuineness of your intentions. Pues sí señores, comimos mucho en Hamburg, si esto es algo que pudiera preocuparle a alguien, que sepa que cualquier cosa que organice el grandioso @tibfox les garantizará alimentación casi ilimitada jajaja realmente se esforzó mucho para que la mayor parte de estos gastos fuesen patrocinados por @valueplan y puedo garantizar que en este evento, la distribución del patrocinio estuvo muy bien gestionada y aclarada en cada punto.
Además de eso, no podemos dejar de reconocer, aunque sea reiterado, el esfuerzo y compromiso que ha demostrado tibfox en todo momento, durante cada aspecto relacionado con la Hamburg BuzzParty 2024 y con muy poca ayuda.
Eres una persona muy comprometida, leal a sus principios y con una encantadora sonrisa que nos ha logrado transmitir la sinceridad de tus intenciones. Te agradezco de corazón que te hayas permitido pasar por un proceso tan estresante para compartir con todos nosotros parte de tu ciudad y de tus costumbres. Gracias por crear un espacio agradable en el que compartir todos juntos. Eres un gran tipo!
