No woman no cry - Live in Bantu bar, Medellin, Colombia - Cover by David Osuna

This masterpiece of the reggae genre known by many people I think it has a very particular connotation because for my suspicions, I think it is popular more than for the rhythm or melody is for its title because both men and women do not like to see any woman crying and this Bob Marley sought to capture it in this song and which after creating it and put his characteristic musical stamp is now positioned among the top 500 songs of all time according to Rolling Stones magazine occupying the 37th position.

Whenever I play this song I have always seen how people sing its chorus but particularly its bridge where it says "Everything is gonna be alright" and how people really feel that everything is going to be alright. So I leave you this interpretation that together with my partner Simón we were doing for this Bantú bar in Medellín.

Espero que les guste nuestra interpretación y recuerden rebloguear, votar y comentar.

I hope you like our interpretation and remember to reblog, vote and comment.

Letra | Lyrics

No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry

Said, said, said I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
Oba-observing the hypocrites
As they mingle with the good people we meet

Good friends we have had
Oh, good friends we've lost
Along the way
In this great future, you can't forget your past
So dry your tears, I say

And no, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
Little darling, don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry

Said, said, said I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
And then Georgie would make the fire light
I said it was a log wood burning through the night

Then we would cook corn meal porridge
Of which I'll share with you
My feet is my only carriage
So I've got to push on through, but while I'm gone

Everything's is gonna be alright
Everything's is gonna be alright
Everything's is gonna be alright
Everything's is gonna be alright

(I said) everything's is gonna be alright
Everything's is gonna be alright
Everything's is gonna be alright, yeah
Everything's is gonna be alright

So, woman, no cry
No, no, woman, woman, no cry
Oh, my little sister, don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry

I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
And then Georgie would make the fire light
I said it was a log wood burning through the night

Then we would cook corn meal porridge
Of which I'll share with you
My feet is my only carriage
So I've got to push on through, but while I'm gone

No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
Oh, my little darling, said don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry
Yeah

My little darling, don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry
Little sister, don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry
