¡Saludos amigos de Hive! hoy continuo con otro #top5 de cosas musicales favoritas, en esta ocasión les hablaré de mis 5 piezas corales favoritas, con "coral" me refiero a un coro de cantantes, yo en lo particular pertenezco a un conservatorio de música en mi ciudad y en los primeros dos años he aprendido muchas piezas y compositores de música coral, es muy interesante como la música coral ha dado un impacto en la vida humana y las emociones que se transmiten y las técnica que se pueden aprender, incluso en éste todo hablaré de piezas corales que aún NO se han cantando en el coro juvenil al que pertenezco pero aún así las incluiré por su belleza sonora, espero les guste...

Jesu Rex Admirabilis - G.P. Palestrina
Empezamos con ésta pieza que es una belleza para mi, se trata de una pieza bastante antigua, según mi profesor de coro cuando se escribió esta pieza apenas se estaba escribiendo la música en si, el sistema pentagrama y de partituras estaba comenzando. Es una pieza que originalmente tiene 3 voces y se usa bien para coros de voces claras (mujeres), coro de voces oscuras (hombres) e incluso un coro mixto (hombres y mujeres), en ese último caso serían 3 voces donde el Tenor y Bajo comparten la 3era voz.
We started with this piece which is a beauty for me, it is a fairly old piece, according to my choir teacher when this piece was written, the music itself was just being written, the staff and sheet music system was beginning. It is a piece that originally has 3 voices and is used well for choirs of clear voices (women), choir of dark voices (men) and even a mixed choir (men and women), in the latter case it would be 3 voices where the Tenor and Bass share the 3rd voice.
Gloria - Athos Palma
Ésta fue una de las últimas piezas que estuvimos estudiando en el coro juvenil del conservatorio antes de todo ésto de la pandemia, es una pieza muy hermosa, tiene un aura muy espiritual y estoy de acuerdo con mi profesor de coro cuando dice que no hay falta una fecha exacta para dar "Gloria a Dios". Ésta es una partitura para coro mixto (Hombres y Mujeres) donde la primera voz (Soprano) tiene un protagonismo único durante la segunda parte, debo admitir que es una partitura tediosa de leer ya que está en F# Mayor y tiene varios sostenidos en su armadura de clave pero aún así vale la pena estudiarla y deleitarse con su melodía.
This was one of the last pieces that we were studying in the youth choir of the conservatory before all this of the pandemic, it is a very beautiful piece, it has a very spiritual aura and I agree with my choir teacher when he says that there is no need an exact date to give "Glory to God". This is a score for mixed choir (Men and Women) where the first voice (Soprano) has a unique role during the second part, I must admit that it is a tedious score to read since it is in F # Major and has several sharps in its key signature. key but still worth studying and enjoying its melody.
Pie Jesu - Andrew Lloyd Webber
Ésta pieza no podía faltar, se trata de un gran reto (al menos para mi) ya que dicha pieza conlleva a dos solistas: Soprano y contralto mientras que el coro hace el trasfondo con las voces o por decir lo que haría un piano o un órgano y las solistas van cantando, es una pieza muy espiritual, su traducción al español es algo así como "Santo Jesús" y es una pieza que les recomiendo escuchar, a mi me trae mucha paz y confort a mi alma y espíritu.
This piece could not be missing, it is a great challenge (at least for me) since this piece involves two soloists: Soprano and Alto while the choir does the background with the voices or to say what a piano or a piano would do. The organ and the soloists are singing, it is a very spiritual piece, its translation into Spanish is something like "Santo Jesús" and it is a piece that I recommend listening to, it brings me a lot of peace and comfort to my soul and spirit.
Crepuscular - Antonio Lauro
La #musicavenezolana también tiene su repertorio de música coral, en éste caso tenemos una clara muestra de algo poético que escribió el maestro Antonio Lauro, una pieza coral que tiene su expresividad y matices, consta de 3 voces en donde la Soprano y Contralto cantan la primera voz y el Tenor y Bajo tienen sus voces a parte cada uno. En mi opinión creo que el compositor supo utilizar bien los matices para representar el crepúsculo que es cuando sale una luz en el atardecer formando algo muy bonito, también es conocido como Arrebol.

Canticorum Iubilo - G.F Händel
Para éste último puesto si me costó elegir una pieza ya que es muy denso el mundo de la música coral, aquí escogí una canción de la época del barroco, tiempo en el que la flauta dulce tuvo protagonismo nuevamente y donde el compositor de ésta pieza compuso una pieza para coro titulada "Canticorum Iubilo" o "Canten coros con júbilo" y es lo que representa, mi profesor decía que cada representaba algo, como que la soprano representaba trompetas por lo agudo anunciando dicho canto.
For this last position, if it was difficult for me to choose a piece since the world of choral music is very dense, here I chose a song from the Baroque era, a time when the recorder had a leading role again and where the composer of this piece composed a piece for choir titled "Canticorum Iubilo" or "Sing choirs with joy" and that is what it represents, my teacher said that each represented something, like the soprano representing trumpets for the sharpness announcing said song.
