Hace mucho tiempo tenía conocimiento sobre la existencia de la iniciativa #HiveTorch. Era algo que veía como un logro de la comunidad entera. Aquello era ser testigo de una confianza multiplicada, cimentada en el principio: Los buenos somos más. Como quiera que sea, siempre me había preguntado el porqué no había pasado por mis manos. No me malentiendan, comprendo muy bien el sentido aleatorio y la necesidad de decisión libre de cada persona al momento de traspasar la flama. Pero también pensaba que me había ganado el derecho a portarla. Dejé de pensar en ello cuando me dí cuenta que estaba fuera de mi control.
I had long been aware of the existence of the #HiveTorch initiative. It was something I saw as an achievement of the entire community. It was witnessing a multiplied trust, founded on the principle: The good guys are more. Anyway, I had always wondered why it hadn't passed through my hands. I stopped thinking about it when I realized it was out of my control.
Un símbolo creado por @geekgirl en #Hive a partir de una idea iniciada en otra comunidad, la antorcha fue potenciada con la creación de la comunidad HiveTorch de parte de @stayoutoftherz y el resto ha sido historia. Sin embargo tengo mucho que decir al respecto. Algo en apariencia trivial, la antorcha tiene un alto significado para mí. Tanto, que fue una enorme sorpresa recibirla de quien menos sospechaba podría ser: @omarcitorojas. La sorpresa trocó en alegría porque éste usuario ha sido uno de los pilares fundamentales en Full Deportes, la comunidad deportiva hispanohablante fundada por mí.
A symbol created by @geekgirl on #Hive from an idea started in another community, the torch was empowered with the creation of the HiveTorch community by @stayoutoftherz and the rest has been history. However I have a lot to say about it. Something seemingly trivial, the torch has a high meaning to me.
