Hola mis queridos amigos, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia con un deporte que me ha encantado desde niño hasta hoy, y es el Voleibol, un deporte que tuvo sus inicios en 1985 y que dejó muchos buenos momentos en mi vida de estudiante de secundaria.
Hello my dear friends, today I want to share with you my experience with a sport that I have loved since I was a child until today, and it is Volleyball, a sport that had its beginnings in 1985 and left a lot of good moments in my life as a high school student.
Mi primer contacto fue cuando llegué a quinto grado y donde en las clases de deportes dirigidas por mi estimado profesor Orlando Picón, comenzó a enseñarnos sobre este juego, desde pequeño siempre fui más alto que los demás compañeros de mi clase, creo que fue una de las razones que lo movieron a enseñarme más de este deporte, aunque me motivó a practicar el baloncesto pero en lo particular no me gusta jugar deportes de contacto y creo que esto se debe a que al ver a otros jugarlo, cada vez que se empujan, uno de los dos muestra más agresividad al punto que en algunos casos llegan a los golpes nada deportivos.
My first contact was when I reached the fifth grade and where in sports classes led by my esteemed teacher Orlando Picon, began to teach us about this game, since I was little I was always taller than the other classmates in my class, I think it was one of the reasons that moved him to teach me more of this sport, although I was motivated to practice basketball but in particular I do not like playing contact sports and I think this is due to seeing others play it, every time they push each other, one of the two shows more aggressiveness to the point that in some cases come to blows nothing sporting.
Mi pasión por este deporte creció cuando entré al liceo y hasta que lo dejé, algo que me ayudó mucho fue mi estatura de 1,85 metros para estar en el equipo de voleibol, recuerdo que mi profesor Nacho Perdomo me insistió para que también participara en atletismo, aunque me gustaba correr, me incliné más por el voleibol. Hubo muchos campeonatos intercolegiales e institucionales que están en mi memoria y lamento no tener una foto ahora.
My passion for this sport grew when I entered high school and until I left it, something that helped me a lot was my height of 1.85 meters to be in the volleyball team, I remember that my teacher Nacho Perdomo insisted me to also participate in athletics, although I liked to run, I leaned more towards volleyball. There were many inter-school and institutional championships that are in my memory and I regret not having a photo now.

Hoy es un deporte que comparto con mi familia, y como cerca de mi casa hay un polideportivo con una cancha de Voleibol playa, nos encantaba ir los domingos por la tarde a jugar con los amigos antes de que empezara esta pandemia.
