Hello fellow Hivers!
The purpose of this post is to share with the world some of the activities, initiatives, and actions that we are taking on @HiveMexico. We are a relatively new community in Hive but the team is formed by many community leaders and Hivers with a lot of experience and skin in the game.
This post is to follow the initiative of @hiveangelists which is gathering Hive Community Leaders to help promote Hive. Written by @eddiespino and @ritch.
First, let me introduce the @HiveMexico team:
We have the support of @ritch who also founded @steemitasclub, which later became @alebijes. He is one of the most active members of the community, most of the Spanish speaking community have talked with him at least once.
@fuerza-hispana led by Javier Gama. This account is in charge of many of the contests organized in Hive Mexico and also has a good HivePower that helps us curate content.
@ficcion and @byercatire are the founders of communities like @nucleo-fse and @caciques, they joined Hive Mexico to make a stronger community.
Last but not least @eddiespino a content creator that has worked in communities like @repollo and also managing the @repollo.press service.

Our Community on Hive: created/hive-147104
We decided to close all our individual Discord servers to focus only on one and create a bigger community this way. The Hive Mexico Discord has more than 300 members and has only been active for a few months. We organize contents, solve doubts, curate content, onboard new people and we also temporarily delegate HivePower to new users until they have gained their own HP.
Besides the things that we have already mentioned we are working on:

We want to incentivize people to increase their HivePower. We have seen that many users sell almost every Hive token that they earn, some are even using services that turn into liquid coins all the rewards. We know that Hive is at least a midterm investment and we also know that there should be a strong middle class on Hive because when the coin pumps again our Dolphins and Orcas will give out strong votes. That's why we have created the tag #hivepower100 and will invite people to power up 100% of their rewards. and we will be giving out votes to good posts that use that tag. We also want to make contests like the Hive Power Up Day but that last they could last 30 days instead of just one day and measure the growth of the accounts.
The rewards for this post will go 100% to Hive Power.

Collaboration with other blockchains
We are joining forces with other decentralized cryptocurrency communities to promote our contests, and the DeVault community is one of our main partners. @devault has been sending DVTs to the winners of the Hive Mexico contests, which is an extra incentive for participants. Devault is a decentralized blockchain of proposals supported by a great community and developers. This type of collaboration brings value because this community publishes content and promotes contests inside the Hive platform.
Games:
On Hive Mexico we support talented people and @shimozurdo a very talented artist is also now developing games, you can see the first steps of his game through his gaming account @shimozurdogames on this post Devlog #1 - Working with WebSockets in my game.
More activity and interactions on our Discord server:
Even though the server is called "Hive Mexico" everyone is welcome and we have a lot of people from Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, and more and more Mexicans are joining every day. Some of our contests are hosted on our Discord and we also have channels to help solve doubts and to ask for delegations.

Content curation:
At the moment we are voting content with the @hivemexico account and we also have a dedicated curation account called @hivemx. We are increasing the HP available in both accounts by inviting the members of the community to delegate HivePower and we are going to give back most of the curation rewards and keep some so the project can grow. Most of the content that we are voting on is done manually.
Marketing on Twitter and Facebook
Hive Mexico has a presence on these two Web 2.0 social media sites. We are sharing our posts and contests on Facebook, we have a group that is drawing and we are also retweeting, commenting, and liking content to help the promotion of Hive on Twitter.

Hive Mexico Website (in development)
@ritch and @shimozurdo are helping us to develop a website for Hive Mexico, this is the website: https://hivemx.herokuapp.com/. It is still in development and we have great plans for it:
-Claim tickets for account creation.
-Request a Hive Account and HP delegations from the site.
-Tutorials and educational posts.
-Host our games, projects, and Discord bots.
HivePower Delegation and mentorship to new users:
In Hive Mexico we have more than 3,000 Hive Power available to delegate to new users that may have problems with their Resource Credits (RC). We can lend them from 15 to 100 HP, most of the time the amount that we lend is between 25 or 30 HP. We keep this delegation for one month or until they have earned their first 30 HP, if they are active they can do this in their first week. If anyone needs a delegation because they lack Resource Credits they can contact us on our Discord: https://discord.gg/NY57WZM.
In conclusion, we are doing effort on many fronts and we are also open to working in the specific needs of the community. We will maintain communication with other Hive Community Leaders an also the people sponsoring this initiative, including @hiveangelists, @threespeak, @starkerz, @theycallmedan, and @stateofthedapps.

El propósito de este post es compartir con ustedes algunas de las actividades, iniciativas y acciones que estamos llevando a cabo en @HiveMexico. Somos una comunidad relativamente nueva en Hive, pero el equipo está formado por muchos líderes comunitarios comprometidos y Hivers con mucha experiencia.
Esta publicación es para apoyar la iniciativa de @hivesangelistas que está reuniendo a los líderes de la comunidad de Hive para ayudar a promoverla. Escrita por @eddiespino y @ritch.

Nuestra comunidad en Hive: created/hive-147104
Decidimos cerrar todos nuestros servidores individuales de Discord para centrarnos sólo en uno y crear una comunidad más grande de esta manera. El servidor de Discord de HiveMéxico cuenta más de 300 usuarios y sólo ha estado activo durante unos pocos meses. Organizamos los posts, resolvemos dudas, curamos las publicaciones, incorporamos nuevas personas y también delegamos temporalmente el HivePower a nuevos usuarios hasta que hayan conseguido su propio HP.
Además de las cosas que ya hemos mencionado, estamos trabajando en:
Uso de la etiqueta #hivepower100:
Queremos incentivar a las personas a aumentar su HivePower. Hemos visto que muchos usuarios venden casi todos los Hives que ganan, algunos incluso usan servicios para convertir todas sus recompensas en monedas líquidas. Sabemos que Hive es una inversión a mediano plazo y también sabemos que debe haber una fuerte clase media en Hive para que cuando la moneda vuelva a subir de nuevo nuestros Delfines y Orcas den mejores votos. Por eso hemos creado la etiqueta #hivepower100 e invitaremos a la gente a que elija recibir el 100% de sus recompensas en forma de HivePower y apoyaremos con votos a los buenos posts que usen esa etiqueta. También queremos hacer concursos relacionados al Hive Power Up Day pero que duren 30 días en lugar de un solo día y medir el crecimiento de las cuentas.

Colaboración con otras cadenas de bloques
Estamos uniendo fuerza con otras comunidades descentralizadas de criptomoneda para promover nuestros concursos, y la comunidad DeVault es uno de nuestros principales colaboradores. @devault ha estado enviando DVTs a los ganadores de los concursos de Hive México, lo cual es un incentivo extra para los participantes. Devault es una blockchain descentralizada de propuestas apoyada por una gran comunidad y desarrolladores. Este tipo de colaboraciones aporta valor, ya que dichas comunidades publican contenido y promueven concursos dentro de la plataforma Hive.
Juegos:

Más actividad e interacciones en nuestro servidor de Discord:
A pesar de que el servidor se llama "Hive México" todos son bienvenidos y tenemos a muchos usuarios de Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, y más y más mexicanos se están uniendo cada día. Curación de contenido:
En este momento estamos votando el contenido con la cuenta @hivemexico y también tenemos una cuenta dedicada a la curación llamada @hivemx. Delegación de HivePower y asesoria a nuevos usuarios:
En Hive México tenemos más de 3000 Hivepower disponibles para delegar a nuevos usuarios que puedan tener problemas con sus Créditos de Recursos (RC). Podemos prestarles de 15 a 100 HP, la mayoría de las veces la cantidad que prestamos está entre 25 o 30 HP. Mantenemos esta delegación durante un mes o hasta que hayan ganado sus primeros 30 HP, si están activos pueden hacerlo en su primera semana.
