Las Comiquitas de Mi Infancia

Los recuerdos de nuestra infancia son imborrables. Permanecen allí a la espera de ser rememorados y hacernos disfrutar con las vivencias que nos brindaron en su momento y hoy recuerdo esas comiquitas, como las llamamos acá en Venezuela, que fueron parte de esos primeros años de nuestra vida.

Tengo en particular tres series infantiles que disfrute mucho y que me hacen recordar momentos únicos con mi familia. Son muy especiales, porque me encantaban y formaban parte de una tradición familiar que compartimos por mucho tiempo: sentarnos a ver televisión juntos.

The Comics of My Childhood

The memories of our childhood are indelible. They remain there waiting to be recalled and make us enjoy the experiences they gave us at the time and today I remember those comics, as we call them here in Venezuela, that were part of those early years of our life.

I have in particular three children's series that I enjoyed very much and that makes me remember unique moments with my family. They are very special because I loved them and they were part of a family tradition that we shared for a long time: sitting down to watch television together.

Mazinger Z

La primera que me encantaba y estoy seguro de que a toda mi familia también, es Mazinger Z. Este magnífico robot me parecía muy genial y me encantaban todas las posibilidades que ofrecía para destruir a los robots enemigos enviados por el Dr. Infierno. Siempre pensé que si me tocara a mí, podría pilotar mejor que Koji Kabuto este robot y me fascinaban tanto el Pilder que era el planeador con que abordaba al robot así como el Scrander, que le permitió a Mazinger poder volar y ser más efectivo para acabar con los robots villanos.

También el robot Afrodita que sería destruida y aparecería luego Diana, un robot femenino que era pilotado por Sayaka, nombre que nos servía siempre para bromear comparándolo con nuestro principal plato navideño. Siempre me llamo la atención el hecho de que Diana dispara cohetes desde sus senos y me decía que porque no habían buscado una mejor manera de equipar este robot.

Mazinger Z

The first one that I loved and I'm sure my whole family did too, is Mazinger Z. This magnificent robot seemed very cool to me and I loved all the possibilities it offered to destroy the enemy robots sent by Dr. Inferno. I always thought that if it was my turn, I could pilot this robot better than Koji Kabuto and I was fascinated by both the Pilder which was the glider with which he boarded the robot as well as the Scrander, which allowed Mazinger to be able to fly and be more effective in taking down the villainous robots.

Also the Aphrodite robot that would be destroyed and then Diana would appear, a female robot that was piloted by Sayaka, a name that we always used to joke about comparing it to our main Christmas dish. I was always struck by the fact that Diana shoots rockets from her breasts and I used to wonder why they hadn't looked for a better way to equip this robot.

La Pantera Rosa

Las ocurrencias de este simpático personaje siempre me hicieron disfrutar sobre manera y mi papá era fanático de esta serie. Siempre reíamos a carcajadas con todas las aventuras y situaciones que enfrentaba y donde siempre se imponía al hombre pequeño. Aunque era rosa, siempre lo vi como masculino, pero con ese toque de superelegancia y cuidado que debería tener un caballero. Era genial como siempre lograba resolver cualquier asunto y la música de la serie inolvidable.

The Pink Panther

The witticisms of this funny character always made me enjoy it very much and my dad was a fan of this series. We always laughed out loud with all the adventures and situations he faced and where he always imposed himself on the little man. Even though he was pink, I always saw him as masculine, but with that touch of super elegance and care that a gentleman should have. It was great how he always managed to solve any issue and the music of the series was unforgettable.

Los Autos Locos

¿Quien no recuerda a Patán y su risa sarcástica y burlona? Esta serie me encantaba cuando niño y disfrutaba con todos sus personajes. El malvado Pierre Nodoyuna que siempre iba a la delantera y comenzaba a colocar trampas a los otros competidores y siempre perdía la carrera. Me gustaba el auto del Dr. Lokovich y sus múltiples cambios. El Espantomovil y el Dragón que siempre resolvía con su gran llamarada. Penelope Glamour y sus feminidad y atributos de belleza siempre destacados en su auto rosa y el infaltable Pedro Bello auxiliándola mientras su auto se desmorona en pedazos. La Antigualla Blindada y la pandilla de mafiosos medio tontos. El Rocomovil y los Hermanos Macana dándose con los troncos a cada rato. El Super Chatarra Especial, un vehículo que no le veía la utilidad en la vida real. El Stuka Rakuda y sus geniales brincos cuando de convertirse en avión se trataba. El oso miedoso del Alambique Veloz me hacía reír con sus ocurrencias temerosas y el auto tan extraño. El Troncoswagen que era temible con sus sierras de ruedas. Pero siempre Patán era el que le ponía la nota graciosa a esta serie con sus maldades y burla con su amo Pierre.

The Wacky Racer

Who doesn't remember Patan and his sarcastic and mocking laughter? I loved this series as a kid and enjoyed all its characters. The evil Pierre Donoyuna was always in the lead and started to set traps for the other competitors and always lost the race. I liked Dr. Lokovich's car and its multiple changes. The Espantamovil and the Dragon that he always solved with his big flare. Penelope Glamour and her femininity and beauty attribute are always highlighted in her pink car and the infallible Pedro Bello helping her while her car crumbles into pieces. La Antigualla Blindada and the gang of half-witted mobsters. The Rocomovil and the Macana Brothers hitting each other with the trunks all the time. The Super Chatarra Especial, a vehicle that I couldn't see the use of in real life. The Stuka Rakuda and its cool jumps when it came to becoming an airplane. The scary bear of the Alambique Veloz made me laugh with his fearful witticisms and the strange car. The Troncoswagen was scary with its wheel saws. But always Patán was the one who put the funny note to this series with his mischief and teasing with his master Pierre.
