Lost in the fog.

A thick fog descended on the city and enveloped it in a milky haze.

A lone rook was sitting on a lamppost and could not dare to take off, he, apparently, was lost in this veil impenetrable for sight.

Even a huge chimney is very difficult to see in this misty kingdom.
