Yesterday I was able to share, together with my husband and some Venezuelan friends, a beautiful dinner that we prepared together with much love and affection.
It was impossible to stop the tears as we remembered our beautiful family in Venezuela, but we also took the opportunity to thank God for his provision and care at all times.
Unfortunately, it was very difficult for us to go to the capital (Buenos Aires) to get the leaves for the hallacas, but we were able to prepare a delicious asado, which we accompanied with ham bread, salad, sweet bread, chocolate, nougat, caramelised almonds, soda, wine and much more.
We ate, laughed and shared with each other until 2 a.m. After a while our bodies were too tired for more, so we went to sleep hahahaha, this means we are old xD.
I'll leave you with our time of sharing, it was beautiful, for that I thank my Lord for everything. Merry Christmas, my beautiful people. God bless you all.
El día de ayer pude compartir, junto a mi esposo y algunos amigos venezolanos, una hermosa cena que preparamos entre todos con mucho amor y cariño.
Las lágrimas fueron imposibles de detenerlas al momento de recordar a nuestra bella familia en Venezuela, pero también aprovechamos la oportunidad para agradecer a Dios por su provisión y cuidado en todo momento.
Lamentablemente, se nos hizo muy difícil ir a la capital (Buenos Aires) a buscar las hojas de las hallacas, pero pudimos preparar un rico asado, el cual acompañamos con pan de jamón, ensalada, pan dulce, chocolate, turrones, garrapiñada, gaseosa, vino y mucho más.
Comimos, reímos y compartirnos hasta las dos de la madrugada. ¡Tiempo después el cuerpo no nos daba para más!, así que nos fuimos a dormir jajajaja, esto quiere decir que estamos viejos xD.
