El paso del huracán Ian por la parte occidental de mi país (Cuba), dejó por completo sin electricidad a toda la nación por más de 48 horas. En una combinación de los daños ocasionados por el fenómeno climatológico y la desidia gubernamental.
Luego de las primeras 24 horas y previendo que la solución no llegaría pronto, un grupo de amigos decidimos irnos de excursión a uno de los lugares más hermosos de nuestra ciudad Santiago de Cuba, y a la vez poco conocido fuera de nosotros los locales. Se trata de la Cascada de Juan Gonzalez.

The passage of Hurricane Ian through the western part of my country (Cuba) completely left the entire nation without electricity for more than 48 hours. In a combination of the damage caused by the weather phenomenon and government neglect.
After the first 24 hours and anticipating that the solution would not come soon, me and a group of friends decided to go on an excursion to one of the most beautiful places in our city Santiago de Cuba, and at the same time, little known outside of us locals. This is the Juan Gonzalez Waterfall.
