Good afternoon everybody, this post is my entry to the new round of the ATW challenge, hosted every week by @bucipuci. Once again I invite all of you to visit an important place of my country 🇨🇺.
In this picture you can see the statue of "La virgen del camino", this sculpture is located in the municipality of 10 de octubre in Havana. It is very interesting to see how people pass by and leave flowers to the virgin and ask her to take care of their roads. The monument also serves as a rest for those who pass by and take a few minutes to rest from the road and the sun, as it is under a roof, and it is located in a big park (you can see it in the second picture).
Not only is the monument known by the name of "La virgen del camino", but also that area, which is an important and very busy place, because there you can find many places of sales and businesses, as well as many bus stops with destination to various places in the province.
