Today I went to the Zoo while spending my holiday peacefully here. Traveling to the zoo, apart from gaining knowledge, is sometimes very fun, moreover, the place I visit is very comfortable and safe for children. So it is very suitable for traveling with family here. This is one of the largest zoos in Indonesia which has a collection of hundreds of species of animals.
Tourist attractions such as museums or zoos can broaden your information and horizons and it is very fun. Things like this will provide special pleasure for your family if you visit here. Even though I came here alone it was also fun, being able to see various types of animals that I had never seen before. So far I've only seen them through videos or books in the library and now I'm in front of them.
This zoo is located in Surabaya and once held the title of the most complete zoo in Southeast Asia. Because it has hundreds of species and thousands of animals here with an outside of about 100 hectares more. Of course, this is a zoo that you must visit.
The atmosphere at the Zoo is also very cool with shady trees and it will make recreation the most fun and very exciting of course. I came here to get to know more about the animals that exist in Indonesia and the world in one of my visits to the Zoo, it will also increase my knowledge about the existing fauna.
Surabaya Zoo is open every day from 8 am to 5 pm. Even the price of the entrance ticket that we pay is also very affordable, with Rp. 6000 (0.45$) for adults and Rp. 5000 (0.4$) for children, of course it will be very affordable for our vacation. Because here you will get a large collection of fauna with the facilities available are very comfortable.
While here I went around several animal cages and saw it directly it was very pleasant and attracted my attention to some of the animals that were here. So far Indonesia is famous for Komodo Island and all the Komodo dragons are there, but there is no way we will visit them there in their wild. But here I can see it directly and it makes me very happy to be able to enjoy things like this in real, not virtual anymore.
I also spent a long time in the Monkeys barracks, although I often saw monkeys everywhere. But while I was here I was very interested because I saw them up close and very active, they played like little children playing with their friends. It looks very funny and also very fun. I like monkeys, and often see them in places other than zoos, they often become pets and are very easy to find in some places. Because to see them I don't need to enter the deep forest, in my area they are even in the countryside.
Here I am also interested in Elephants and Deer. As for the elephants, I have never seen them this close, only saw some wild elephants in the forest that once destroyed the village where I worked. But here I see them as if to make my perception of them change 180 degrees. Because here they look very cute and adorable. While the deer that make me attractive are their tiny bodies with beautiful horns that make them look like beautiful animals there, moreover I have never seen them in real life.
After visiting some of the animals and animals I was interested in, I also toured the zoo to see other animals. Ranging from tame animals to wild animals are here, it's very interesting to be here. So far, what I don't really get close to is a predatory animal, especially if it's not a crocodile. I shot images during them but I didn't want to get too close. Moreover, I often hear news about crocodiles that prey on humans, in Indonesia itself there are many sad incidents and it is related to crocodiles.
