English version

A while ago, I went with my boyfriend @franchalad, along with a friend from work and her kids, to visit a spectacular tourist place here in Valencia, Venezuela. It is Cerro El Casupo, a huge and rocky hill where people go to exercise going up and down the mountain.

Inside we can also find animals, like turtles, for example, I like that it has a small zoo, even clean streams free of garbage for fish to swim. This hill is almost 800 meters high. We decided to go up, although I was already tired just climbing the stairs at the foot of the mountain.

Yes, I'm not much of an exercise person, but that day I had fun climbing the site. We arrived at a small ranger's house where we stayed to rest for a while after climbing those long stairs, although we still had a long way to go and we were very conscious of that.

After resting we continued, and that's where the rough part started. The road we took was not easy. We had to go through a climb full of sharp rocks that lacerated my heels. Surprisingly, while climbing, I didn't feel tired at all; maybe because we were going at such a slow pace that it allowed us to do some leisurely cardio.

My boyfriend was tired, so we went slowly so that he was always with us. I was hoping to get to a necessary altitude so he could admire the city and take pictures. A little over halfway, we finally reached a point where we could see the buildings in the distance, and I couldn't miss the opportunity to pull out my phone camera.

Finally, we reached the highest part of the hill, where there is flat ground, with chairs where we could rest. We drank water, breathed, admired the landscape in front of us. It was really worth it to get to the top.

After a while, it was time to go down, and let me tell you that the descent was worse than the ascent, not so much because of the difficulty, but because of the huge stones on the path that hurt the soles of our feet, and also, we had to be very careful, since the ground is usually slippery and the path is very steep.

When we were at the bottom, it was a breath of relief. We were very hungry, so we decided to have lunch at a good place. I really enjoyed it, although my boyfriend almost went into cardiac arrest, I was hoping to go again. I hope that day happens again and soon, I really enjoyed that day.
