Bang Saray fishing village for many years was just a sleepy old fishing village the only activity that use to go on here was seeing them wooden fishing boats go out for there catch then the restaurant owners and market vendors would in come at the piers buy up the fish and leave but today it has become a village that is thriving with Thai people and foreigners that will come here for the weekends staying to enjoy not only the tasty fresh seafood this village provides but also the beautiful gentle blue turquoise beach where many Thai's will sit under them coconut and palm trees barbecuing and eating all day while the kids are enjoying a swim which makes the town more inviting nowadays.
Bang Saray Village has made it's own wealth from the continuous presence of the large fishing community that have been here since the early 1960's and the smartest of the fishermen that have worked hard as a family team are now the ones today that own all the high end seafood restaurants in this village and the good thing about Bang Saray Village it still has not become commercial with high rise skyscrapers and resorts everywhere it has maintained to still stay a charming and tranquil village and not been over run by tourist.
