I am finally ready for some egg laying hens on the homestead farm! My uncle is going to bring them over tomorrow and we are going to get them set up in their area! I am really excited to see things finally coming along. I am a bit A.D.H.D, and when I want something, I want it done now kind of thing, but I am having to learn to be a bit more patient and that things have to come in their own time.

What I really mean by this is that I expected to have this all done and going right after I moved here, and that's just not how it went due to several factors that were simply out of my control. Another major factor is the lack of funds, but I am working on that. But hey, this is some major progress! I have had the main part of the fencing up for a couple of weeks at this point, but realized that my folks took all the good power tools with them to Florida to work, so I have been a bit stranded as far as that is concerned.

I borrowed a power screw gun from my uncle and finally got the gate finished out of some old shelving wood that my dad got from the Gap store my sister used to work at when they did a remodel. So I have all these little pieces of wood that I was able to put to good use! I have some other ideas for some of it too to make small greenhouse type things, but that will come in time. I am designing some connecting joints that I can 3D print so that I don't have to have any tools to put them together, because well, why not?

Anyway, I am just happy that I got another little project done while we had a break in the rain. It's been a pretty stormy day and I have been a bit lazy, but it was nice to get a break so I could get outside and do something other than just watch 3D printers run, haha.

Anyway, until next time...

Be cool, be real, and always abide my dudes!
