About the Quote

We are our own worse critics. We're with ourselves literally all the time. We see what we do, then we analyze and overanalyze what we did. We can even analyze an action so much before it takes place that we never take that action. If we don't have our minds set right, we end up harming ourselves in many ways.

Garbage in, garbage out is a computer scence term, but it's just as true when it comes to nutrition. The nutrition we need isn't only physical for our bodies. We also need proper nutrition for our minds and our spirits. Without denying the existence of adversity and unfairness and difficulty and pure bad luck, we need to develop mindsets which help us overcome all those obstacles so that we can achieve great things.

Even if we fail, we don't get paralyzed by the failure. Instead, we figure out why we failed and adjust accordingly before we try again. Instead of curling up in the fetal position on the floor or on a bed, we rise up again and continue as if nothing happened.
