Hello Liketu Community! It's me lheeshan06 joining you here again today. I hope you are all doing good and feeling fine.
Living in a place that is so far from the city is one of the reasons why we can't visit some beautiful spots around the city. It takes more than three hours to travel back and forth from the city and the fare is also expensive especially now that we are still facing the pandemic so we can't go to the place that we want to.
It's a good thing that before the pandemic hit the world, my two kids Adam and Xandra were able to go to Jollibee and were able to play at Tom's World in Robinson's Place, Iligan City. We were actually going to buy school supplies and uniforms and some groceries at that moment so I decided that before going through with the things that we needed to do, I would let them have their breakfast first in Jollibee, and after they will play at Tom's World. As we reached Robinson's Mall in Iligan, we directly walk towards the favorite fast food of everyone, "The Jollibee". I ordered two pieces of chicken and two rice then it was paired with cold iced tea. You might wonder why I just ordered two pieces in each of those, it's because I really intended to just buy food for my kids. I was also budgeting the money that I brought to the city so it didn't matter if I couldn't eat at the moment, what was important was the happiness of my kids.
Seeing Adam and Xandra enjoying their food warmth my heart. The genuine smile they showed to me while they were eating the fried chicken with gravy on it is really priceless. After almost 20 minutes, the kids had finished their meal and so we decided to leave the place and headed to Tom's World so they can play even for a short period. Oh, I almost forgot, at the exit of the Jollibee, there it was the Jolly Bee standing so I took photos of them first as a remembrance of visiting the Jollibee.
After the picture taking, Tom's World is the next destination but before entering the place, I also took photos of them and then went inside. I exchanged a small amount of money for tokens so they could play. They ride on the unicorn 🦄 and then I put tokens on it so it would move while they were seated next to each other. When it stopped, we went to another spot where they could ride too. They were really happy there and I couldn't help but wish that my two sons were also with me at that time. But sadly they weren't there since I couldn't look after the four of them then I also have groceries to carry. Traveling with more kids wasn't really easy so by that time, I only let Adam and Xandra came with me.
After riding those rides that were in Tom's World, we transferred to another spot where there were candies or goodies on it. We just put tokens and wait if there are candies that would fall and that's what made the kids more excited. Having candies in their hands made them smile widely. They were so cute and adorable.
When we ran out of tokens, we went out of that place and headed to our next destination (Unitop and Gaisano) to buy the school supplies and uniform and so too with the groceries. It was memorable and full of enjoyment day. I was really enjoying the moment with these two little cuties. I just hope that next time, I can already bring the four of them so it will be more enjoyable and memorable.
