Si prestan la suficiente atención se darán cuenta que en todas mis redes sociales o cosas que tengan relación a mí hay girasoles de por medio y esto es porque ha sido mi flor favorita desde niña gracias a un tío que me regalaba girasoles en todos mis cumpleaños; esta flor ha sido más que una flor bonita para mí, su significado a trascendido como una forma de inspiración para seguir adelante y "siempre buscar la luz del sol".
Algo que amo de esta flores es lo románticas que son debido a que, como su nombre lo indica, ellas siempre están girando mirando al sol pero cuando este no está, ellas se miran entre ellas para mantener la energía; para mí esto es una metáfora de la vida, donde tu siempre vas a poder seguir tus sueños por ti mismo pero hay días dónde refugiarte en tus seres queridos también es de mucha ayuda; de esta forma nacen las personas Girasol para mí.
If you pay enough attention you will notice that in all my social media or things related to me there are sunflowers in between and this is because it has been my favorite flower since I was a child thanks to an uncle who gave me sunflowers on all my birthdays; this flower has been more than a pretty flower for me, its meaning has transcended as a form of inspiration to move forward and “always look for the sunlight”.
Something I love about these flowers is how romantic they are because, as their name indicates, they are always turning looking at the sun but when the sun is not there, they look at each other to keep the energy; for me this is a metaphor of life, where you will always be able to follow your dreams by yourself but there are days where taking refuge in your loved ones is also very helpful; this is how Sunflower people are born for me.
Gracias a la serie Floricienta, todas las niñas que crecimos viendo esa serie añoramos recibir flores amarillas como demostración de amor, desde el año pasado esto se ha convertido en una moda bastante fuerte debido a la gira mundial de Florencia Bertotti con canciones de esa serie, incluyendo la canción más icónicas de todas y la que desató este frenesí, Flores Amarillas.
Otro significado que tiene este gesto es el inicio de la primavera, una de las estaciones más bonitas del año aunque, en lo personal, prefiero el otoño pero debo admitir que la primavera te llena de energía, paz, alegría y te saca ese niño interior que todos tenemos.
Thanks to the series Floricienta (Flinderella), all of us girls who grew up watching that series longed to receive yellow flowers as a demonstration of love, since last year this has become quite a strong trend due to Florencia Bertotti's world tour with songs from that series, including the most iconic song of all and the one that sparked this frenzy, Yellow Flowers.
Another meaning that this gesture has is the beginning of spring, one of the most beautiful seasons of the year although, personally, I prefer autumn but I must admit that spring fills you with energy, peace, joy and brings out that inner child that we all have.
Aunque esto empezó como un gesto que se hace entre parejas, como todo, ha trascendido a compartirlas con tus seres queridos, sea familia o amigos, este fue mi caso; mi hermana mayor me llamó para que bajara a buscar algo que me iba a entregar, no tenía idea de nada y tampoco se me pasó por la mente la idea, pero cuando la veo llegar con un ramo de flores amarillas no pude contener las lagrimas.
El 21 de Septiembre es una fecha complicada para mí por hechos que sucedieron que aún duelen un poco y recibir este gesto fue como una curita a mi corazón, además que ¿Qué chica no quiere recibir sus flores favoritas?
Although this started as a gesture that is made between couples, like everything, has transcended to share them with your loved ones, whether family or friends, this was my case; my older sister called me to come down to get something that she was going to give me, I had no idea of anything and the idea didn't cross my mind, but when I see her arrive with a bouquet of yellow flowers I couldn't hold back the tears.
September 21st is a complicated date for me because of events that happened that still hurt a little and receiving this gesture was like a band-aid to my heart, besides, what girl doesn't want to receive her favorite flowers?
Amo las flores, aunque me dé dolor ver como van muriendo poco a poco, por eso prefiero las flores eternas sean de papel, tejidas, dibujos o incluso esas que pasan por un proceso de conservación que pueden durar hasta 5 años; para mi suerte, tengo de todo un poco, incluso llevo una tatuada en mi antebrazo derecho.
Este ha sido un regalo hermoso, la flor favorita de mi hermana también son los girasoles así que también le regalé algo alusivo a eso, aunque sea algo simple, a ella le encantó su dibujo de un Girasol. Así como mencioné al principio de este post y por si aún no lo deducen, mi persona Girasol es mi hermana debido a que ella siempre ha sido mi refugio cuando mi vida está llena de oscuridad y tristeza; cuando el sol desaparece, sé que la tengo a ella.

I love flowers, even if it hurts me to see how they are dying little by little, that's why I prefer eternal flowers whether they are made of paper, woven, drawings or even those that go through a conservation process that can last up to 5 years; for my luck, I have a little bit of everything, I even have one tattooed on my right forearm.
This has been a beautiful gift, my sister's favorite flower is also sunflowers so I also gave her something allusive to that, even if it's something simple, she loved her drawing of a Sunflower. Just as I mentioned at the beginning of this post and in case you haven't figured it out yet, my Sunflower person is my sister because she has always been my refuge when my life is full of darkness and sadness; when the sun disappears, I know I have her.
