Good evening dear friends, I hope you had a great Tuesday... On this occasion, I am sharing with you some photos from my birthday. For several days my daughter asked me what cake I wanted to enjoy for that day, I confess that I was very indecisive since I love ALL desserts, those who know me know that they are my GREAT delirium! haha After thinking about the alternatives I had, my daughter recommended the "pineapple cake", she told me that its flavor was spectacular and that it was the best she had tasted on the island of Margarita. After discarding, I thought about ordering a "moist chocolate cake", but I remembered that whenever I prepare the "pineapple cake" when I bathe the cake with the pineapple syrup, it usually stays VERY sweet, so I decided to give a vote trustworthy to my daughter's palate and accept her culinary recommendation.
After blowing out the candles and asking for ALL my wishes, we sat down to enjoy an appetizing cake, I must confess that my daughter was right, I was fascinated with its texture and flavor, now the "pineapple cake" has become one of my favorite desserts! We accompany the cake with a delicious "quesillo", I have always thought that to celebrate ALL birthdays this combination is perfect!
We celebrated that day by toasting with "different drinks", since none of us managed to agree haha! my mother decided to drink whiskey and soda, my daughter prepared her favorite drink which are "passion fruit mojitos" and I decided to toast with an exquisite "rosé wine". For dinner we were going to order Arabic food, but fulfilling the wishes of the birthday girl, she won the option of having a succulent pizza for dinner haha! we ordered a LARGE Family Pizza, when I tried the first bite I was fascinated with the sauce, since they use "natural tomato", its texture was VERY thin and crunchy, I loved it!
We closed the night with the delivery of gifts, I received an agenda with beautiful metallic colors, I had told my mother that I wanted to buy a notebook to write down the recipes that I share on Hive, another of the gifts I received was my favorite perfume, since it it was almost empty and it was left to use two more times, another beautiful gift was a case to store and protect the laptop where I share my content on Hive every day, since the one I had had the closure broken... I thank the Universe for so many blessings, a day that became "unique and special"... A wonderful moment that I will remember forever!
Buenas noches queridos amigos, espero que hayan tenido un excelente martes... En esta ocasión les comparto algunas fotos de mi cumpleaños. Durante varios días mi hija me preguntó que torta quería disfrutar para ese día, les confieso que estaba muy indecisa ya que TODOS los postres me encantan, los que me conocen saben que son mi GRAN delirio! jaja Después de pensar en las alternativas que tenía, mi hija me recomendó la "torta de piña", me dijo que su sabor era espectacular y que era la mejor que había probado en la isla de Margarita. Después de ir descartando, pensé en pedir una "torta húmeda de chocolate", pero recordé que siempre que preparo la "torta de piña", cuando baño el pastel con el almíbar de piña, suele quedar MUY dulce, así que decidí dar un voto de confianza al paladar de mi hija y acepté su recomendación culinaria.
Luego de soplar las velas y pedir TODOS mis deseos, nos sentamos a disfrutar de un apetitoso bizcocho, les debo confesar que mi hija tenía razón, quedé fascinada con su textura y sabor, ahora el "pastel de piña" pasó a ser uno de mis postres favoritos! Acompañamos la torta con un delicioso "quesillo", siempre he pensado que para celebrar TODOS los cumpleaños ésta combinación es perfecta!
Celebramos ese día brindando con "diferentes bebidas", ya que ninguna de nosotras logramos ponernos de acuerdo jaja! mi madre decidió tomar wiski con soda, mi hija preparó su bebida favorita que son "mojitos de parchita" y yo decidí brindar con un exquisito "vino rosado". Para cenar ibamos a pedir comida árabe, pero cumpliendo los deseos de la cumpleañera ganó la opción de cenar una suculenta pizza jaja! ordenamos una GRAN Pizza Familiar, cuando probé el primer bocado quedé fascinada con la salsa, ya que utilizan "tomate natural", su textura era MUY delgada y crujiente, me encantó!
Cerramos la noche con la entrega de regalos, recibí una agenda con hermosos colores metalizados, le había comentado a mi madre que deseaba comprar un cuaderno para anotar las recetas que comparto en Hive, otro de los regalos que recibí fue mi perfume favorito, ya que estaba casi vacío y quedaba para usar dos veces más, otro hermoso regalo fue un estuche para guardar y proteger la lapto donde todos los días comparto mi contenido en Hive, ya que el que tenía se le había roto el cierre... Agradezco al Universo por tantas bendiciones, un día que se convirtió en "único y especial"... Un maravilloso momento que rcordaré por siempre!
