This week Hollands biggest funfair spreaded her wings again in the city of Tilburg. Ten days of (way too expensive) rides which make you want to puke your guts out, but most of all entertainment everywhere in the form of music, beers and just tons of people to watch.
Now us healthcare people have different schedules than others. That means a day off could be a weekday all of a sudden, and that leads to a day out in the sun with loads of talks and tons of beers.
The best starter of the day is when your friend comes walking up with a couple of 'Hazy wonder' IPAs from Lagunitas. My favorite summer drink! What a way to start the trip along the funfair!
And we found out there was this German beergarten (yes that is garten and not garden) which also had some appropriate food that went awesome with the beers. You need some grease there, no eco friendly this time oopsie.
Now after that it was better to go back to just lager because it is just easier to get, and also in the sun it is not a bad summer drink. That is why I like Dutch summers staying in town. So many things to do and places to go and meet up with people you haven't seen in a while.
