One of the oldest oilseed crop known to history- Sesame Seeds.
Of course we tried to personally grind in what they called suribachi- a pottery bowl, glazed on the outside and with a rough pattern called kushi-no-me on the unglazed inside.
I ordered Tonkatsu with my proud ground sesame seed sauce. :)
