There is a new food place somewhere close to the capital called 'Our Northern Coffee House.' From the name, one would think it is a coffee house but it's actually a fast casual restaurant which caters mostly to travelers. It opened closest to one of our favorite stop-by food places, giving it a healthy competition if I may say so.
It was under construction the last time we passed by not so long ago and it's amazing that it's now fully furnished and operational. The husband and Mr. B got their first experience of the place and the food too, which I was told had good grades per the husband's taste buds, lol! Well, except that their stir fried noodles which we locally call pansit or pancit had quite so much black pepper.
Anyway, through the photos, I deduced that the ambiance of the place is cool. And it's super clean too! The frontage is welcoming with the potted plants and all. And one of its plus points against the others on that area is that it has a spacious parking space which is absolutely needed especially for frequent travelers which are mostly delivery trucks coming and going along the Halsema Highway. It's also in a prime location I believe.
And being newly-built, it usually draws more people as it piques their curiosity to try what the place has to offer. I'm speaking based on personal experience that is. Over the last few years, there had been several restaurants that opened along that stretchy highway and whilst a couple of the old ones still attract loyal customers, others had not been so lucky and resorted to closing their doors.
Whether or not 'Our Northern Coffee House' will last a long time, it all depends on the quality of their service, the food they serve and the general experience they give or provide to their customers. I hope they would be excellent in those areas, keep innovating and be a success in their field. And I'm so looking forward to my first visit to the place and have a taste of their northern coffee! Will be going there next week, who's coming? LOL!
Whew! A beautiful new week arrived here in our part of the world and I'm grateful to be able to say hello to it with the pinkest of health. Also excited to seize the day and make the most out of it.
