"Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven."

- Henry Ward Beecher

I had some heartwarming moments with the youngest member of our family sometime ago. His Dad teased I have to make him smile before he comes to me. True enough, for some stroke of luck I was able to tickle his funny bone when I gave him an orange. He smiled rather meekly and for the first time ever, he let me hold him.

He even sat on my lap and played with me for I guess half an hour while the old folks and other guests were chitchatting things by the living room. He fiddled with a tiny iron tricycle souvenir which Mom had as one of the decors by their fireplace.

It was fun watching him as if he was trying to study every part of it. I imagined him to be one little engineer, checking and calibrating stuff. And who knows he could be one in the future, right? LOL! Uh-uh, it sounded I was creating dreams for him, but nah :)

Babies amaze me and my heart feels warm each time I hold one in my arms. Their hands so soft, their bodies so fragile and their innocence so raw and fascinating. For some magical reasons, they bring about indescribable emotions and fill our world with joy and wonder.

Anyhow, these photos were captured during those moments and it would be great to look back at them sometime in the future and perhaps tease him about it when he grows up, lol!

It's the new day once again, another chance to do and be better. I hope you're doing great today and here's to wish you a Happy, Fabulous New Week!

Smile... laugh often... love more... be happy and grateful always!
