"At sunrise, the blue sky paints herself with gold colors and joyfully dances to the music of a morning breeze.”

― Debasish Mridha

We set out early (around 5:30 am) because we wanted to catch the sunrise somewhere we thought would be an amazing place to watch it. But we were a bit late and we had to stop where we can get a view of it along the highway. There was a house that was still being constructed, its top floor level was empty so the husband pulled over. That was the spot where the first, third to the fifth photos above were captured.

Then the farmboy thought it would be better to catch a glimpse of the sunrise at kilometer 24 so we went back to the car and sped off not wanting to miss any of it. As we approached the place, I couldn't help but take a shot of the colors through the car's windshield (second photo). It's almost the same scene as the one I shot the day before while we were leaving home.

Anyways, we arrived at Highway 24 and parked in front of the restaurant (last photo above) then went on to enjoy the colors of the sky. There was a pick up truck delivering fish produce to the stalls along that highway and the few people there were staring at us, perhaps wondering what we were there for so we brought our our phones and started photographing and without viewing back whether our shots were good or not, lol!

We spent many more minutes there, mesmerized at the beautiful sights of the sky. Browsing photos today, I was kind of disappointed that our phone cameras were not able to take better shots but oh well, we did witness on our own eyes the stunning arts and colors which nature displayed at that particular moment and place. And these shots are sort of documents we can look back and remember them by. The sixth photo by the way was the reflection of the sky colors on the restaurant's glass windows.

I can say that had been one of the great times where the husband and I built yet another connection with mother nature.

All photos are my own. 190822/09:23ph
