Benátky
Italské Benátky leží na ostrovech v mělké hladině laguny, která je oddělená od jaderského moře. Je zde kolem stovky kanálů, které zde lidé využívají k dopravě jak lidí tak i jako dodávku zboží. Je v nich pod pokutou zakázáno se koupat. Určitě se nezapomeňte svést na jedné z gondol. I když je to poněkud dražší, zážitek stojí za to.
Benátky se pomalu, ale jistě potápí, každým rokem skoro o 1cm. Snad se tomu podaří zabránit, aby toto krásné historické město jednoho dne nezmizelo z map.
Venice
Italian Venice lies on the islands in the shallow surface of the lagoon, which is separated from the Adriatic Sea. There are around a hundred canals that people use to transport both people and deliver goods. It is forbidden to bathe in them under penalty. Be sure to seduce one of the gondolas. Although it's a bit more expensive, the experience is worth it.
Venice sinks slowly but surely, almost 1 cm every year. Perhaps this will prevent this beautiful historic city from disappearing from the maps one day.
