This weekend I went out to clear my mind, I went to a small town about 120km away from Maturin whose name is San Antonio de Capayacuar is a quiet town of very friendly people in which you will feel at home, its climate is pleasant and has a river very close where you can enjoy a relaxing day in its waters, although I have passed many times by the entrance of this town I had not stopped at this entrance to the town where there is a monument made on the occasion of the founding of this town that is full of legends.
This time I wanted to stop to walk through a square that is right at the entrance of the town and they have a statue of the friar who founded this town mounted on stones superimposed in such a way that they gave the shape of a base to put and raise the statue.
This square has a few benches where you can sit and spend some time in the afternoon, it has some trees and palms that give you some peace. Also if you look out you can see the river running and people bathing in it. On the iron bridge you can also look out and see everything from the heights. It is a place where it is worth a stop to enjoy a little of this square that also has a lot of information about the town engraved in cement plaques.
