Cómo dato curioso quiero comentarles que en San Antonio del Golfo ocurre un fenómeno único en el mundo que son las famosas aguas sulfurosas del "Borbollon". Estás aguas se deben a una grieta producto del terremoto de Cariaco en el año 1997, provocando que surgiese una corriente de agua sulfurosa y caliente de la misma, a la cual los locales le atribuyen dones curativos y son especiales porque se encuentra dentro del mar, para que lugareños y turistas pudiesen disfrutar de estás aguas sulfurosas se instalo una tubería que hace que el agua salga a presión y parezca una fuente ⛲.
