Future Simple
The future simple is a verbal form that is used to express a future intention formulated at the moment of speaking.
We can also use the Future Simple when we want to describe a prediction or something that we think will happen in the future
Rules for building the Future Simple
Affirmative sentences: will and the bare infinitive of the verb
Clara will help you.
Note: in affirmative sentences will can be abbreviated with 'll
We'll answer your question.
Negative sentences: will not and the bare infinitive of the verb
I will not call you back.
Note: The form will not can also be written and abbreviated in the following way, I won’t call you back.
Interrogative sentences: volontà and bare infinitive of the verb
Will you open the window?
Example
Let's think about talking to an old friend that we haven't seen for a long time, but we don't have time to talk to him. In this case we could let him know that we'll call him tomorrow. So in this situation we fall right into the case of using the Future Simple because we are now identifying an action that we will do in the future.
The correct sentence with the future simple is the following (future simple form in bold)
I’ll call you tomorrow
Example 2
Let's take the case that we want to inform a friend of ours that Carlo will pass the exam with few problems. In this case we are actually describing something that we think will happen in the future, so we will use the Future Simple.
The sentence with the Future Simple in bold will be the following.
Carlo will pass the exam easily.
Be going to
We can use the form be going to to talk about plans and intentions that could still change.
Let's take an example, we want to express our intention to a friend that we are going on holiday in Switzerland, but since we have not booked this situation could also change, so in this sentence we will not use the form of the Future Simple described before but we will use be going to
The sentence will therefore be the following (in bold the form of be going to)
We are going to spend our holiday in Switzerland.

To build sentences with the verb in the future to express intentions, in English we use the verbal form called Future Simple

Il Future Simple lo possiamo usare anche quando vogliamo descrivere una previsione o qualcosa che pensiamo accadrà in futuro
Regole di costruzione del Future Simple
Frasi affermative: will e l'infinito nudo del verbo
Clara will help you.
Nota: nelle frasi affermative will lo possiamo abbreviare con 'll
We'll answer your question.
Frasi negative: will not e l'infinito nudo del verbo
I will not call you back.
Nota: La forma will not si può scrivere ed abbreviare anche nella seguente maniera, I won’t call you back.
Frasi interrogative: volontà e infinito nudo del verbo

Esempio
Pensiamo di colloquiare con un vecchio amico che non incontriamo da molto tempo, ma non abbiamo tempo di parlare con lui. In questo caso potremmo avvisarlo che lo chiameremo domani. Quindi in questa situazione rientriamo proprio nel caso d'uso del Future Simple perché stiamo identificando adesso un'azione che faremo nel futuro.
La frase corretta con il future simple è la seguente (forma del future simple in grassetto)
I’ll call you tomorrow
Esempio 2
Prendiamo il caso che vogliamo informare una nostra amica che Carlo passerà l'esame con pochi problemi. In questo caso stiamo proprio descrivendo qualcosa che pensiamo accadrà in futuro, quindi useremo il Future Simple.
La frase con il Future Simple in grassetto sarà la seguente.
Carlo will pass the exam easily.
Be going to
Possiamo usare la forma be going to per parlare di piani e intenzioni che potrebbero ancora cambiare.
Facciamo un esempio, vogliamo esprimere la nostra intenzione ad un amico che andremo a fare delle vacanze i Svizzera, però non avendo prenotato questa situazione potrebbe anche cambiare, quindi in questa frase non useremo la forma del Future Simple descritta prima ma useremo il be going to
La frase quindi sarà la seguente (in grassetto la forma del be going to)
We are going to spend our holiday in Switzerland.
Conclusioni
Per costruire frasi con il verbo al futuro per esprimere intenzioni, in inglese usiamo la forma verbale chiamata Future Simple
