Friends of Hive, since 2016 I have been present on this platform, I have seen many beautiful things, but also many wrong things. I lived on my skin the downvote war of 4 years ago, when there was someone who drained the rewards pool, with 2000/3000 $ a day, but for fear of reprisals, almost no one has ever opposed. I fought for everyone's free rights, I also suffered severe damage, with heavy downvotes, just for opposing that situation and expressing my opinion.
Mine is a small voice, it will be worth little, but I will never stop fighting for the freedom and rights of all on Hive. Now I am seeing the evolution of a bad situation, which is penalizing especially small accounts.
The question is this:
According to the decision of a few people and some whales (which is very centralized, not in line with Hive's philosophy), the rewards pool is drained by a few users, considering that the top 20 receive about 50% of the entire pool. According to these people, creating x accounts and following their negative votes, which counter the vote of the main curators, would free rewards from the posts that they believe receive too many rewards.
Simply put, that's the basic thinking behind this whole thing.
But I wonder, by what right do you decide without any common sense to remove rewards from people who sweat to scrape a few dollars???
The main curators do not only vote for users with a lot of HP, they often and willingly also support novices and small users, just for the quality and commitment of their posts. When these, then they find themselves receiving downvotes for free, on an original post that has cost hours of effort.
It is said that this is done to redistribute rewards to all those who receive little or nothing.
But you go and give negative votes to the people who do something to help new users, as I have always done and so many of my friends here, who have been affected in the last few days. We write guides on how to use and behave correctly on Hive, we have helped many new users of all nationalities in their first steps, we have for years committed our votes and our resources to grow all the little ones who were ignored and wanted to work hard, to help Hive himself.
And now are we repaid like this? After years of sacrifice to grow and help others we are bombarded with downvote... I don't know what to think honestly, all of this saddens me a lot.
Today I received a negative vote from @newsflash, he wrote on his blog that it is nothing personal, that the vote starts automatically if you are supported by @buildawhale. I replied that even though he says it is not personal, I have been personally harmed and I add here, that he has consequently harmed all the people that I support.
Whales! Do you really think this is the solution? Penalize small/medium accounts, which are the ones who help Hive and new users to grow! Isn't that in this way, you are damaging the system itself? Is this the philosophy of decentralization and freedom?
Almost all of us started from 0, those who are receiving downvote these days, with a lot of time and sacrifices, we have managed to grow, because we love this platform, its project and its philosophy. We have made many good users grow, always supporting originality and quality, because we have always maintained that this is the only way to grow and help the platform.

ATTENZIONE HIVE - Piovono downvote sui piccoli account - Dove sono le libertà e le pari opportunità della decentralizzazione? Questa non è la soluzione giusta!
Amici di Hive, dal 2016 sono presente su questa piattaforma, ho visto tante cose belle, ma anche tante cose sbagliate. Ho vissuto sulla mia pelle le downvote war di 4 anni fa, quando c'era qualcuno che prosciugava la pool delle rewards, con 2000/3000$ al giorno, ma per paura di rappresaglie, quasi nessuno si è mai opposto. Io ho lottato per i liberi diritti di tutti, ho subito anche forti danni, con downvote pesanti, solo per essermi opposto a quella situazione e aver espresso la mia opinione.
La mia è una piccola voce, varrà poco, ma non smetterò mai di combattere per la libertà e i diritti di tutti su Hive. Ora sto vedendo l'evolversi di una brutta situazione, che sta penalizzando soprattutto piccoli account.
La questione è questa:
Secondo la decisione di pochi e alcune balene (cosa molto centralizzata, non in tema con la filosofia di Hive), la pool delle rewards è prosciugata da pochi utenti, considerando che i top 20, ricevono circa il 50% dell'intera pool. Secondo queste persone, creando degli accont x e seguendo i loro voti negativi, che contrastino il voto dei principali curatori, si libererebbero rewards dai post che secondo loro ricevono troppe ricompense.
In poche parole, quello è il pensiero base che c'è dietro tutta questa faccenda.
Ma mi chiedo, con quale diritto decidete voi senza nessun criterio di togliere rewards alle persone che sudano per racimolare pochi dollari???
I curatori principali, non votano solo utenti con molto HP, spesso e volentieri supportano anche novizi e piccoli utenti, solo per la qualità e l'impegno dei loro post. Quando questi, poi si trovano a ricevere downvote gratuitamente, su un post originale che ha costato ore di impegno.
Viene detto che lo si fa per redistribuire le rewards anche a tutti coloro che ricevono poco o nulla.
Ma andate a dare voti negativi proprio alle persone che fanno qualcosa per aiutare i nuovi utenti, come ho sempre fatto io e tanti miei amici qui, che negli ultimi giorni sono stati colpiti. Scriviamo guide su come usare e comportarsi in modo corretto su Hive, abbiamo aiutato nei primi passi tanti nuovi utenti, di ogni nazionalità, abbiamo per anni impegnato i nostri voti e le nostre risorse per fare crescere tutti i piccoli che erano ignorati e avevano voglia di impegnarsi, per aiutare Hive stesso.
E ora siamo ripagati così? Dopo anni di sacrifici per crescere e aiutare il prossimo veniamo bombardati da downvote... Non so a cosa pensare sinceramente, tutto questo mi rattrista molto.
Oggi ho ricevuto un voto negativo da @newsflash, lui ha scritto sul suo blog che non è nulla di personale, che il voto parte in automatico se si viene supportati da @buildawhale. Io gli ho risposto che anche se dice che non è personale, io sono stato personalmente danneggiato e aggiungo quí, che così ha danneggiato di conseguenza tutte le persone che io supporto.
Balene! Pensate davvero che sia questa la soluzione? Penalizzare i piccoli/medi account, che sono coloro che aiutano a crescere Hive e i nuovi utenti! Non è che invece così, state danneggiando il sistema stesso? E' questa la filosofia di decentralizzazione e libertà?
Siamo partiti quasi tutti da 0, coloro che in questi giorni stanno ricevendo downvote, con tanto tempo e sacrifici, siamo riusciti a crescere, perché amiamo questa piattaforma, il suo progetto e la sua filosofia. Abbiamo fatto crescere tanti bravi utenti, supportando sempre l'originalità e la qualità, perché abbiamo sempre sostenuto che solo così si poteva crescere e aiutare la piattaforma.
