Obviously I couldn't miss the Valentine's post written for the ECency Discord Weekly!

The feast of love should be celebrated by anyone who believes in love, at least this is my point of view heh heh!
My beloved Reny and I will not do anything in particular tonight, we will enjoy a homemade Valentine's Day; obviously, however, I organized a nice dinner and afterwards we'll see a film beached on the sofa... maybe, given the occasion, it will be one of those sentimental and saccharine films that I don't like much, but my wife loves them so I'll enjoy it too I, I want you to be happy!
Let's start from the beginning... the gifts!
I don't know why but we never wait for the right day to open presents.
The only exception is Christmas in the sense that the gifts under the tree open on the 24th at midnight... however, throughout the month, we exchange a few more heh heh!
Reny, you know me and you know what I'm passionate about in fact she gave me a beautiful Lego Marvel ... to which I will obviously dedicate a post.
As you can see in the photo it's about the Hulk!
I, on the other hand, gave her a beautiful scarf, hat, gloves all in one that she had seen on Amazon and had wanted for a while and, instead of the classic flowers, orchids, again Lego, for two reasons: the first because my favorite flower Wife is really the orchid and then because she had seen this model and had been aiming for it for a long time, she wants to put it on a pedestal that we have in the stairs.
Don't worry, there will also be a dedicated post for this and you will also see where it will fit in the house.
As for dinner, it will be simple, but I couldn't help but organize something themed, I want to honor all kinds of holidays, what do you think?
As first I will cook some gnocchi, I haven't decided yet what the sauce will be but I think I will make them with butter and sage since Reny likes them a lot that way, obviously the pasta has the shape of a heart and there are also red gnocchi!
For the second we will treat ourselves to two different things, I prefer pizza...
Reny will eat these chicken nuggets instead...
As you can see everything has the shape of hearts, as a side dish we'll eat a nice little salad but there won't be any hearts there eh eh!
As for dessert, I think we'll keep it simple, I'll cook crépes with Nutella.
I am sure we will have a wonderful evening and it will be a Valentine's Day to remember, as is everyone we have spent together.
But now I salute you, I have to start cooking otherwise we won't eat tonight!

La festa dell'amore va festeggiata da chiunque creda nell'amore, almeno questo è il mio punto di vista eh eh!
Io e la mia amata Reny questa sera non faremo nulla di particolare, ci godremo una festa degli innamorati casalinga; ovviamente però, ho organizzato una bella cena e dopo vedremo un film spiaggiati sul divano... magari, vista l'occasione, sarà uno di quei film sentimentali e sdolcinati che io amo poco, però mia moglie li adora quindi me lo farò piacere anche io, desidero che sia felice!
Partiamo dal principio... i regali!
Non so per quale ragione ma noi non aspettiamo mai il giorno giusto per aprire i regali.
L'unica eccezione la fa il Natale nel senso che, i doni sotto l'albero si aprono il 24 a mezzanotte... però, durante tutto il mese, ce ne scambiamo qualche altro eh eh!
Reny, mi conosce e sa cosa mi appassiona infatti mi ha regalato un bellissimo Lego Marvel... al quale dedicherò un post ovviamente.

Io invece le ho regalato una bellissima Sciarpa, cappello, guanti tutto in uno che aveva visto su Amazon e desiderava da un po' e, invece dei classici fiori, delle orchidee sempre Lego questo per due motivi: il primo perché il fiore preferito di mia Moglie è proprio l'orchidea e poi perché aveva visto questo modellino ed era da parecchio che lo aveva puntato, desidera metterlo su un piedistallo che abbiamo nelle scale.
Sta tranquillo, anche per questo ci sarà un post dedicato e vedrai anche quale sarà la sua collocazione nella casa.
Per quel che riguarda la cena sarà semplice, ma non potevo non organizzare qualcosa a tema, ci tengo ad onorare ogni tipo di festività io, cosa credi?
Come primo cucinerò degli gnocchi, non ho ancora deciso quale sarà il condimento credo però che li farò con burro e salvia visto che a Reny piacciono molto in quel modo, ovviamente la pasta ha la forma di cuore e ci sono anche gli gnocchi rossi!
Per secondo ci concederemo due cose differenti, io preferisco la pizza...
Reny invece mangerà questi chicken nuggets...
Come puoi vedere tutto ha la forma di cuori, per contorno mangeremo una bella insalatina ma lì non ci saranno cuori eh eh!
Per quel che riguarda il dolce, credo che ci manterremo sul semplice, cucinerò delle crépes con la nutella.
Sono certo che passeremo una bellissima serata e sarà un san Valentino da ricordare, come lo sono tutti quelli che abbiamo passato insieme.
Ora però Ti saluto, devo iniziare a cucinare altrimenti stasera non si mangia!
