Un saluto a tutti,
andrò subito al sodo: se c'è una cosa che rallenta la diffusione di Hive in Italia è proprio la mancanza di promozione della blockchain nel nostro territorio.
A guardare i numeri, è triste vedere la nostra lingua, l'italiano, davvero poco diffusa in Hive. Eppure c'è stato un tempo in cui il tag #ITA era uno dei più pooplari, poi il giocattolo si è rotto e da avere una massiccia presenza in Steem, gli italiani in quella blockchain e soprattutto adesso in Hive, forse si possono contare sulle dita di una mano.
Lo sforzo di @fedesox, autentico leader al momento e uno dei pochi promotori della nostra lingua su Hive, nel creare "Olio di Balena" e curare manualmente i contenuti in essa presenti con il suo stake è davvero encomiabile.
Nel mio piccolo sto cercando di aiutarlo curando i contenuti di "Olio di Balena" con il mio trail, ma credo serva un ulteriore step in avanti per puntare alla diffusione di Hive tra gli italiani al di fuori della blockchain andando a reclutare utenti negli altri social network.
In questo potrebbe essere davvero utile partecipare alla nuova iniziativa di 3Speak e State of the Dapps chiamata "Hive Community Leaders" che funzionerà come evoluzione naturale dell'iniziativa di @theycallmedan #mycountryinitiative sulla quale potete trovare informazioni a questo LINK.
In parole povere, l'obiettivo è un lavoro in sinergia di vari community leader di tutte le parti del mondo per diffondere Hive a livello globale, creando delle community linguistiche o territoriali che verranno supportate in vari modi al fine di far diventare capillare la diffusone della nostra blockchain.

Perchè sto scrivendo questo post?
La verità è che credo che questa iniziativa rappresenti un'occasione unica per cercare di rilanciare la presenza italiana in HIVE, perchè diciamocelo sinceramente, sarebbe molto più stimolante poter scrivere nella nostra lingua e poter avere una platea di lettori e commentatori che invogli alla scrittura.
Capisco che scrivere in inglese permetta di accedere a un pubblico molto più vasto, ma sono altrettanto convinto che il futuro di piattaforme come Hive sia quello di organizzarsi in community tematiche/linguistiche che permettano di mettere ordine e focalizzare l'attenzione degli utenti su quello che realmente gli interessa, senza dover scorrere pagine e pagine di post tra i quali ritrovare quello che cercando realmente.
Quindi bisognerebbe mettere da parte le simpatie e le antipatie e cercare di lavorare uniti approfittando di questa occasione per far diventare Hive popolare anche in Italia.
Quello che si chiede a un community leader è appunto di essere una guida per la propria comunità, di promuovere Hive sui social network e organizzare eventi per la promozione.
E' un ruolo molto stimolante, ma ripeto è tutto descritto nel post di presentazione dell'iniziativa e credo sia superfluo ripeterlo in questo mio post.
Quello che vorrei fare è proprio individuare un Leader da candidare per la comunità italiana, supportarlo e aiutarlo in questo difficile ma importante ruolo.
Ma chi potrebbe candidarsi per rappresentare al meglio la nostra comunità in questo progetto?
Onestamente se potessi mi condiderei in prima persona, ma ritengo che ci siano diversi motivi per non farlo e sono abbastanza onesto nell'ammetterlo.
Principalmente la non perfetta conoscenza della lingua inglese (parlata e scritta) che renderebbe il coordinamento con gli altri community leaders e con lo staff organizzativo molto difficoltoso.
Poi c'è il non trascurabile dettaglio di essere inviso a una parte degli utenti italiani, cosa della quale onestamente ancora non comprendo le motivazioni ma che credo faccia parte di una campagna di odio nei miei confronti risalente ai tempi in cui mi chiamai fuori da SPI.
Quindi in tutta coscienza e per il bene collettivo, mi chiamo fuori anche se mi rendo disponibile a supportare chiunque dovesse candidarsi, qualora rispetti i requisiti che il leader dovrebbe avere.
Se dovessi pensare a qualche nome, me ne verrebbero in mente due che secondo me sono perfetti per il ruolo.
Il primo è sicuramente @fedesox, proprio perchè penso che questo progetto sarebbe la natuale evoluzione di quello che lui ha già cominciato creando e supportando Olio di Balena.
Fede infatti se la cava bene con l'inglese, ha doti di leader e sarebbe ben accetto a tutta la comunità italiana.. quindi quale migliore candidato?
Su di lui credo sia inutile spendere altre parole perchè credo che metterebbe tutti d'accordo!
Il secondo nome che farei con una certa tranquillità è @webdeals.
Donato lavora in Inghilterra e quindi la barriera linguistica non è certamente un problema; inoltre è un veterano di Steem essendo uno dei primi italiani ad essersi registrato in quella blockchain.
La sua rete di contatti è abbastanza buona e credo sarebbe ben visto a livello internazionale perchè in molti già lo conoscono e lo hanno supportato nel suo percorso.
Dettaglio non trascurabile è che @webdeals ha già attivamente supportato la comunità italiana ai tempi di SPI senza mai chiedere nulla in cambio e continua a farlo con lo stesso spirito.
Completa il quadro una conoscenza personale che dura da quando mi sono iscritto in Steem, quindi parliamo di tre anni, nei quali il suo percorso è stato lineare e sempre improntato alla crescita.
Ecco, se dovessi pensare a un leader completo farei il suo nome senza alcuna remora.
Queste sono solo le mie proposte, ma sarebbe bello intavolare un discorso collettivo per cercare di giungere a un nome e far evolvere la nostra community.
Io credo che questa sia un'ottima occasione e sarebbe un vero peccato non approfittarne per far tornare la comunità italiana ai vertici della blockchain!
Sono convinto che la base di partenza sia ottima, in quanto i pochi italiani rimasti siano tutti dei sopravvissuti al crollo delle quotazioni (che secondo me è stata la vera causa della decimazione degli utenti italiani) e quindi quello che ci guida non è la sete di soldi ma la voglia di continuare ad esprimerci e confrontarci.
Ecco, vorrei ancora una volta sottolineare questo punto: i soldi sono importanti e siamo tutti qui anche per quel motivo, inutile nasconderlo.. ma ci deve essere anche una motivazione "etica", cioè far parte di una rivoluzione, essere i pionieri di quello che potrebbe essere il futuro!

Hello everybody,
I'll get straight to the point: if there is one thing that slows down the spread of Hive in Italy is the lack of promotion of the blockchain in our territory.
Looking at the numbers, it's sad to see our language, Italian, really not very widespread in Hive. Yet there was a time when the #ITA tag was one of the most pooplari, then the toy broke and to have a massive presence in Steem, the Italians in that blockchain and especially now in Hive, maybe you can count on the fingers of one hand.
The effort of @fedesox, authentic leader at the moment and one of the few promoters of our language on Hive, in creating "Whale Oil" and taking care of the contents manually with its stake is really commendable.
In my small way I'm trying to help him by taking care of the contents of "Whale Oil " with my trail, but I think we need a further step forward to aim at spreading Hive among Italians outside the blockchain by recruiting users in other social networks.
In this it could be really useful to participate in the new initiative of 3Speak and State of the Dapps called "Hive Community Leaders" that will work as a natural evolution of the @theycallmedan #mycountryinitiative initiative on which you can find information at this LINK.
Simply put, the goal is to work in synergy with various community leaders from all parts of the world to spread Hive globally, creating linguistic or territorial communities that will be supported in various ways in order to make the spread of our blockchain widespread.

Why am I writing this post?
The truth is that I believe that this initiative represents a unique opportunity to try to relaunch the Italian presence in HIVE, because let's be honest, it would be much more stimulating to be able to write in our language and to have an audience of readers and commentators who are attracted to writing.
I understand that writing in English gives access to a much wider audience, but I'm equally convinced that the future of platforms such as Hive is to organize in thematic/linguistic communities that allow to put order and focus users' attention on what really interests them, without having to scroll through pages and pages of posts among which to find what they are really looking for.
So we should put aside our sympathies and dislikes and try to work together, taking advantage of this opportunity to make Hive popular in Italy too.
What a community leader is asked to do is to be a guide for his community, to promote Hive on social networks and to organize events for the promotion.
It is a very stimulating role, but I repeat it is all described in the presentation post of the initiative and I think it is superfluous to repeat it in this post.
What I would like to do is just to identify a Leader to apply for the Italian community, support and help him in this difficult but important role.
But who could apply to best represent our community in this project?
Honestly, if I could, I would condone it myself, but I think there are several reasons not to, and I am honest enough to admit it.
Mainly the not perfect knowledge of English (spoken and written) which would make coordination with other community leaders and organizational staff very difficult.
Then there's the not inconsiderable detail of being invicted to a part of the Italian users, something of which I honestly still don't understand the motivations, but I think it's part of a campaign of hatred towards me dating back to the times when I was called out of SPI.
So in all conscience and for the collective good, I'm out even if I make myself available to support anyone who should run if they meet the requirements that the leader should have.
If I had to think of a few names, I would think of two that I think are perfect for the role.
The first is definitely @fedesox, just because I think this project would be the natural evolution of what he has already started creating and supporting Whale Oil.
Fede in fact does well with English, has leadership skills and would be welcome to the whole Italian community ... so what better candidate?
On him I think it's useless to spend more words because I think that would put everyone in agreement!
the second name I would do with some peace of mind is @webdeals.
Donato works in England so the language barrier is certainly not a problem; moreover he is a Steem veteran being one of the first Italians to have registered in that blockchain.
His network of contacts is quite good and I think he would be well seen internationally because many people already know him and have supported him in his path.
A not insignificant detail is that @webdeals has already actively supported the Italian community at the time of SPI without ever asking anything in return and continues to do so in the same spirit.
The picture is completed by a personal knowledge that has lasted since I joined Steem, so we are talking about three years, in which his path has been linear and always marked by growth.
Here, if I had to think of a complete leader I would name him without any hesitation.
These are just my proposals, but it would be nice to start a collective discussion to try to come up with a name and evolve our community.
I think this is an excellent opportunity and it would be a shame not to take advantage of it to bring the Italian community back to the top of the blockchain!
I'm convinced that the starting point is very good, as the few remaining Italians are all survivors of the collapse in prices (which in my opinion was the real cause of the decimation of Italian users) and therefore what drives us is not the thirst for money but the desire to continue to express ourselves and compare ourselves.
Here, I would like to underline this point once again: the money is important and we are all here for that reason too, it's useless to hide it. but there must also be an "ethical" motivation, that is to be part of a revolution, to be the pioneers of what the future could be!
