Thanks for your comment @germangenius and I agree with your minimalist view on focusing on the important things but I sincerely think that your comment contains superficiality because there is not one way to live a life but many different ways and the same life can have different stages, goals and needs.
If you would not be so greedy you would have more time for your daughter and parents.
If I wanna lie in the sun all day I just do it.
I prefer my daughter to be in the sun and she can stop and read a book or admire the beauty of nature instead of me.
You probably don't have a family to think about and you probably don't have the responsibility of being a father like I do.
I am free and healthy but poor, you are rich but not free.
I am by no means rich but on one thing you are right I am not free because I have little time but I have to think about putting the plate on the table and above all I have to think about my daughter's future. If I don't work I won't be able to assure her a future as a student and without reading and studying my daughter wouldn't be free because she wouldn't have the tools to be free.
I love freedom and I respect all opinions and I like to confront everyone constructively but your comment shows a lot of superficiality and above all an egocentric vision.
Your comment doesn't include questions to get more knowledge about me or why I dedicate my time to work but only statements and advice.
You put yourself in a master situation without knowing my life.
I think your way of life is right because you chose it but I don't think I'm better than you or anyone else and I don't feel like telling you what you are (greedy) or what you should do (stay in the sun). At the most I can advise you but before expressing a judgement I have to dedicate some time to get to know you.
You probably only devote time to yourself and little to others and are easy to judge.
My post is about goals on Hive but my life has many goals and a lot of time is spent helping others and I don't have time to sit in the sun and tan.
I have to earn money to have time, I am forced to earn money because the dentist costs money, books cost money, bills are expensive and taxes are high.
You have time because you don't have my responsibilities and when you grow up and are my age you will understand that ideals clash with reality, which is hard, especially if you have people to help and think about.
The beauty of life is in the diversity and it's great that we have different opinions ;)
