Blockchain-based games are one of my passions and I have a natural preference for Hive games because Hive is my favorite blockchain project.

From August 10 to August 21 I was on vacation and because of that I stopped my gaming activity on Hive games, gaming activity I resumed two days ago and today, through this post, I share my gaming experience on BRO BANG!

BRO BANG is a Hive based browser arcade game in which the player has to hit pins with a hammer that go out and back in from the 13 holes on the game board.

Recently on Brobang a change was introduced to the game mechanism related to waves: Changings in the game routine (V0.8.34)

Before this change it was possible not to hit the pins during a wave for 5 consecutive waves and then be forced to hit them.

After this modification, not hitting at least 1 pin during a waves for 5 waves = Game Over.

Each skipped wave produces the reduction of 1/5 of the bar placed on the right (see image below).

When the skipped waves bar reaches 0 -> Game Over.

I like this change because it will balance the competition between players who have a lot of time on their hands and players who have less time on their hands without eliminating the skill factor which will be even more important after this change even though the achievable scores will decrease.

Because I had been on vacation, I had not read the post announcing this change and for that reason I initially thought it was a bug but instead it is a good change to the game mechanism that should increase the competition and also the fun.

On BRO BANG there are two weekly events going on, CCD Event and LGN Event which will end tomorrow August 25 at 11:59 pm.

In the CCD Event I am in fifth position but my goal is to finish in fourth position because the first three positions are unreachable because the scores were obtained before the change to the game mechanism.

In the LGN Event I am in fourth position but will try to get to third position before the end of the event.

On BRO BANG you can play in three game modes (one free and two paid):

  • Play for Free
  • Pay with CCD token
  • Pay with LGN token

The free mode allows you to play without paying anything but does not allow you to compete with other players to earn in-game rewards.

For each of the two paid modes there are:

  • one weekly event
  • a seasonal event

To play a game in the paid mode, you can choose from four options:

  • pay 100 CCD to play 1 game and compete in the CCD Event
  • pay 1000 CCD to play unlimited for the duration of 1 single CCD event (1 week)
  • pay 0.08 LGN to play 1 game and compete in the LGN Event
  • pay 0.80 LGN to play unlimited for the duration of 1 single LGN event (1 week)

Based on the current market value of CCD tokens and LGN tokens (Lowest Ask Value):

  • 100 CCD = 0.08469900 SWAP.HIVE

  • 1000 CCD = 0.8469900 SWAP.HIVE

  • 0.08 LGN = 0.06408001 SWAP.HIVE

  • 0.80 LGN = 0.6408001 SWAP.HIVE

Based on the current ranking of the two events (which may change before the end of the event):

  • with an expenditure of 100 CCDs (= 1 match) it is necessary to finish at least 14th place in the CCD Event ranking to get a profit: +9.89 CCDs (profit 1st place: + 5214.16 CCDs)
  • with an expenditure of 1000 CCDs (unlimited matches) it is necessary to finish at least 4th in the CCD Event ranking to get a profit: +251 CCD (profit 1st place: + 4314.16 CCDs)
  • with an expenditure of 0.08 LGN (= 1 match) it is necessary to finish at least 11th in the ranking of the LGN Event to obtain a profit: +0.008 LGN (profit 1st place: + 6,424 LGN)
  • with an expense of 0.80 LGN (unlimited games) you need to finish at least 5th place in the LGN Event ranking to get a profit: +0.390 LGN (profit 1st place: + 5.625 LGN)

La mia esperienza di gioco su BRO BANG mini game! Nuova Dinamica di Gioco e i miei risultati stagionali parziali

I giochi basati su blockchain sono una delle mie passioni e ho una naturale preferenza per gli Hive games perchè Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito.

Dal 10 agosto al 21 agosto sono stato in vacanza e per questo motivo ho interrotto la mia attività di gioco sugli Hive games, attività di gioco che ho ripreso due giorni fa e oggi, tramite questo post, condivido la mia esperienza di gioco su BRO BANG!
BRO BANG è un Hive based browser arcade game in cui il giocatore deve colpire con un martello dei pins che escono e rientrano dai 13 fori presenti sul pannello di gioco.

Di recente su Brobang è stata introdotta una modifica al meccanismo di gioco relativa ai waves: Changings in the game routine (V0.8.34)

Prima di questa modifica era possibile non colpire i pins durante un wave per 5 waves consecutivi per poi essere obbligati a colpirli.

Dopo questa modifica, non colpire almeno 1 pin durante un waves per 5 waves = Game Over

Ogni wave skippato produce la riduzione di 1/5 della barra posizionata sulla destra (vedi immagine seguente).

Quando la barra dei waves skippati arriva a 0 -> Game Over

Mi piace questa modifica perchè equilibrerà la competizione tra i giocatori che hanno molto tempo a disposizione e i giocatori che hanno meno tempo a disposizione senza eliminare il fattore abilità che dopo questa modifica sarà ancora più importante anche se i punteggi raggiungibili diminuiranno.

Essendo stato in vacanza non avevo letto il post di annuncio di questa modifica e per questo motivo inizialmente pensavo fosse un bug ma invece è una buona modifica al meccanismo di gioco che dovrebbe aumentare la competizione e anche il divertimento.

Su BRO BANG sono in corso due eventi settimanali, CCD Event e LGN Event che termineranno domani 25 agosto alle ore 23:59.

Nel CCD Event sono in quinta posizione ma il mio obiettivo è di arrivare in quarta posizione perchè le prime tre posizioni sono irraggiungibili perchè i punteggi sono stati ottenuti prima della modifica al meccanismo di gioco.

Nel LGN Event sono in quarta posizione ma cercherò di arrivare in terza posizione prima della fine dell'evento.

Su BRO BANG è possibile giocare in tre modalità di gioco (una gratuita e due a pagamento):

  • Play for Free
  • Pay with CCD token
  • Pay with LGN token

La modalità gratuita permette di giocare senza pagare nulla ma non permette di competere con gli altri giocatori per guadagnare le ricompense di gioco.

Per giocare una partita nella modalità a pagamento è possibile scegliere tra quattro opzioni:

  • pagare 100 CCD per giocare 1 partita e competere nel CCD Event
  • pagare 1000 CCD per giocare in modo illimitato per tutta la durata di 1 singolo CCD event (1 settimana)
  • pagare 0.08 LGN per giocare 1 partita e competere nel LGN Event
  • pagare 0.80 LGN per giocare in modo illimitato per tutta la durata di 1 singolo LGN event (1 settimana)

In base al valore di mercato attuale dei token CCD e dei token LGN (Lowest Ask Value):

  • 100 CCD = 0.08469900 SWAP.HIVE

In base all'attuale classifica dei due eventi (che potrebbe cambiare prima della fine dell'evento):
