A dip in the sea of Santa Maria di Leuca
Hello friends,
Friday I went to Santa Maria di Leuca.
It was my second weekend spent there, in fact on Sunday 5 July I had to return to Potenza for work reasons while my wife and daughter stayed in Santa Maria di Leuca to enjoy the sea, sun and relaxation. .
I love my family and staying even for a few days away from my little Chiara is always unpleasant for me, but work is important especially in this particular post lockdown period ...
Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite places to dive into the waves of the crystal clear sea of Santa Maria di Leuca.

From the point from which I took the photo you can dive from a height of about 8 meters.

At this point the sea takes on a beautiful color rich in green shades.

Santa Maria di Leuca is full of beautiful and particular caves.
From the point you see in the picture you can swim to one of the most famous caves of Leuca: the Porcinara cave.
In the following photo you can see my little Chiara who is preparing to dive into the sea.

Entering the water is not particularly easy, in fact rock shoes, at least for children and for those who are not so practical, are highly recommended.

But the small path difficulties to access the sea are more than rewarded ...

How beautiful is the sea?

The sea was the background of loves, games, friendships but also of moments of reflection, pain and tears.
The sea has been and is a friend, a confidant.
The sea has the incredible power to amplify my moods but also to modify them.
I would like to watch the sea for hours while listening to the music of its waves and while I feel its incredible perfume.
Since I became a father, I have also looked at the sea with my daughter's eyes and through her I relive the emotions of when I was a child too.
The sea is pure magic

Ciao amici,
venerdì sono stato a Santa Maria di Leuca dove avevo lasciato mia moglie e mia figlia a godersi una settimana di mare, sole e relax.
E' stato il mio secondo week-end passato lì, infatti domenica 5 Luglio sono dovuto rientrare a Potenza per motivi di lavoro.
Amo la mia famiglia e stare anche pochi giorni lontano dalla mia piccola Chiara è sempre poco piacevole per me, ma il lavoro è importante soprattutto in questo particolare periodo post lockdown...
Oggi volevo condividere con voi uno dei posti che preferisco per tuffarmi tra le onde del mare cristallino di Santa Maria di Leuca.

Dal punto da cui ho scattato la foto è possibile tuffarsi da un'altezza di circa 8 metri.

In questo punto il mare assume una bellissima colorazione ricca di sfumature verdi.

Santa Maria di Leuca è ricca di grotte e sono una più bella dell'altra.
Dal punto che vedete in foto si può raggiungere a nuoto una delle grotte più famose di Leuca: la grotta della Porcinara.
Nella foto seguente potete vedere la mia piccola Chiara che si appresta a tuffarsi nel mare.

L'ingresso in acqua è facilitato ma non semplice, infatti le scarpe da scoglio, almeno per i bimbi e per chi non è tanto pratico, sono altamente consigliate.

Ma le piccole difficoltà di percorso per accedere al mare sono più che ricompensate...

Quanto è bello il mare?

Il mare è stato lo sfondo di amori, giochi, amicizie, corse ma anche di momenti di riflessione, dolori e lacrime.
Il mare è stato ed è un amico, un confidente.
Il mare ha l'incredibile potere di amplificare i miei stati d'animo ma anche di modificarli.
Guarderei il mare per ore mentre ascolto la musica delle onde inebriato dal suo profumo.
Da quando sono diventato padre guardo il mare anche con gli occhi di mia figlia e attraverso di lei rivivo le emozioni bagnate e salate di quando ero bambino anche io.
Il mare è pura magia
