Hello all Hivers and Splinterlands friends, the subject of @steemmonsters weekly challenge are dragons. Let's take a closer look at them.
SPLINTER DRAGONS
Dragons have ancient origins in the Splinterlands. Their home territory is the mythical Draykh-Nahka. The kingdom of Dragons needs no introduction. The only thing certain is that it is a very dangerous territory, with creatures within it that exist nowhere else in the Splinterlands.
For me, the Dragon cards are among the strongest in the game. Materially they are also among the most expensive. I only own a few Dragon cards from the opening Chaos Legion packs and a few Rewards cards. As soon as I read about the weekly Steemmonsters contest I immediately thought I would participate. But since Share Your Battle Dragons is repeated cyclically I thought it would be better to use different cards than the usual ones I showed you previously. Precisely because I have always been intrigued by these cards I then decided to resort to renting them in order to discover new cards and admire their power. And, of course, to be able to participate in the contest by bringing a breath of fresh air into my card analysis.

THE DEPLOYMENT
As you can see from my deployment I decided to rent a few scarce cards lol. I was lucky enough to find the right battle in a very short time and got to experience the full firepower of this Splinter element: DRAGONS.
I started by hiring a summoner other than the usual Drake of Arnak, even though the latter is still a highly respected summoner and also very expensive to tell the truth. I jumped on Bizantyne Kitty, it inspired me. Its high cost in mana justifies its bonuses.
After that I wanted to rent Robo-knight Dragon, Carnage Titan, Khaos Dragon and Desert Dragon. We will analyse the newly rented cards below. To end my line-up the usual Djinn Chwala and to fill the two remaining mana I inserted Scavo Chemist gold Foil, which I own (I know it's not worth that much but I like gold cards too much).
COMBAT RULES
Mana cap for battle set at 60 points. Only cards from the splinters: Fire, Water, Life, Death and Dragon may be used.
LIMITATION: Meele Mayhem (monsters with Meele Attack can attack from any position).
In short, I found the perfect conditions to unleash all my firepower. I also had a little bit of luck, I must say....
MY DEPLOYMENT
When I look at it I say : " WOW! " . Byzantine Kitty, summoner of the Dragon element. Cost in Mana 7 points, I think it is one of the highest in mana points. Attention, attention, Lords and Ladies, we are faced with three abilities! The first is to provide a +2 speed to all allied monsters. The second is True Strike. The third is Tank-Heal, which basically increases the tank's health by a portion each turn. Brilliant, crazy. Very expensive, you can only get it for hire because it's really expensive. The card design is perhaps misleading, you see her all cute and chubby... but she's a beast!
Here it is: Robo- Dragon Knight. A beast in the true sense of the word. Cost in mana 11 points. 3 points Meele Attack, 3 points Speed, 8 points Armour, 9 points Life. Skills: Reduced damage from magic attack and Divine Shield (takes no damage when first attacked by an opponent).
What can I say... the stats speak for themselves: a fucking beast. Untameable, I don't even want to imagine the stats at later levels, who knows maxed to the max what he becomes....
Gentlemen, Carnage Titan. You may be a little more familiar with this card as it featured in the airdrop linked to the purchase of Chaos Legion packs... if I'm not mistaken it was the very last one. I, however, could not yet participate in the airdrop (in fact, if I'm not mistaken, you need 100 open packages to be able to participate - ps: I'm there now ;) - ).
Cost in mana 11 points. 2 Meele Attack Points, 3 Speed Points, 7 Armour Points and 8 Life Points. But, gentlemen and gentlemen, the best is yet to come.
It possesses two abilities: it can attack from the second position and above all it attacks twice every round. A war machine. I'm pumped.
Well... here we have to stop for a moment and give a round of applause! Chaos Dragon: I think one of the most expensive cards in terms of Mana points in the entire game. 3 points Magic Attack, 3 points Speed, 4 points Armour and 10 points Life. A beast. Ah... you'll allow me one thing... how awesome is the card design? Beautiful!
It possesses two abilities: Fly and Scattershot. Scattershot allows the monster to attack a random enemy target, so the beauty of it is that you don't know where Chaos Dragon's attacks go! Once to the opposing tank, once to the last monster on the team, and so on. Intriguing. Scary and dark. Chaos Dragon.
I have spoken about her extensively in my previous posts related to these challenges and I do not want to be repetitive and banal. I will simply say that she is a queen to me.

Here it is, Desert Dragon. Doesn't blow you away at first glance? Trust me it's a killer card when used in certain situations ;)
Only 7 points in terms of mana. Now here I have to make a clarification, I rented the card with these stats at LV 2 but obviously having rented a Byzantine Kitty at LV1 I couldn't summon Desert Dragon at level 2. So the stats remain the same except for one less point of Meele Attack compared to the image and one less skill compared to the image (ie Piercing). The design makes me fly though, man gorgeous.
How beautiful is my golden Scavo? Beautiful! It closes the line-up because I didn't know what to put with 2 mana remaining: long live honesty ahahah
MY STRATEGY
It may sound strange to say, but my strategy was dictated by the limitations of the match. As soon as I read Mana Cap 60 points and Meele attack monsters can attack from any position, I didn't think twice. Byzantine Kitty to heal the tank and virtually never let it die, increase everyone's speed to dodge attacks and give a perfect true strike.
In first position was the Robo-Dragon Knight tank: resistant to magic attacks and with a divine shield, it would take the opponent's tank attacks and then destroy him. In second position Carnage Titan, attacks twice as well. Next is Chaos Dragon to wreak havoc, he has no Meele attack but he is a beast so he had to be deployed. Next, in fourth position, Djinn Chwala who in addition to attacking would damage the attacking opponents monsters with his thorn ability. Fifth was Desert Dragon, a beast. To close a random Scavo Chemist, I admit.
The strategy wasn't very well thought out but obviously involved all musts with Meele Attack being able to attack. I hoped not to catch Obsidian and his magic band as an opponent because it would have been a different story, I probably would have lost the match. Instead I caught a Taddius Brood and in fact did not have a moment's peace. I took few hits, I gave many.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?
I must say, first of all, for the sake of intellectual honesty, that I was very lucky. I had not calculated all the possible variables and I was seriously afraid of the one Summoner I could not face: namely Obsidian with his magic band. I had calculated that I could play against all the other Summoners who would be a Tarsus or a General Sloan, it mattered little. Fortunately Obsidian did not materialise.
The strategy worked great because my monsters hit the opponents like skittles. Carnage Titan with 2 hits per round delivered perfect kills. Desert Dragon with its overwhelming ability destroyed two opponents one after the other.
I have to admit that the strategy was not brilliant, but I had a lot of fun trying out these powerful new cards. The aim of steemmonster in fact is not only to give an upvote to help the creators, but it is really to introduce and try out new cards to all players through their contests!

LO SPLINTER DRAGHI
I Draghi hanno origini antichissime nello Splinterlands. Il loro territorio di residenza è il mitico Draykh-Nahka. Il regno dei Draghi non ha bisogno di presentazioni. L'unica cosa certa è che esso è un territorio molto pericoloso, con all'interno creature che non esistono da nessuna altra parte dello Splinterlands.
Per me, le carte Drago, sono tra le più forti del gioco. Materialmente sono anche tra le più costose. Posseggo soltanto qualche carta Drago uscita dai pack opening Chaos Legion e qualche carta Rewards. Appena ho letto il contest settimanale di Steemmonsters ho subito pensato che avrei partecipato. Ma siccome Share Your Battle Dragons viene riproposto ciclicamente ho pensato che sarebbe stato meglio usare carte diverse rispette alle solite che vi ho mostrato precedentemente. Proprio perchè sono sempre stato intrigato da queste carte ho deciso allora di ricorrere al noleggio per scoprire nuove carte e ammirare la loro potenza. E, ovviamente, per poter partecipare al contest portando una ventata d'aria fresca nelle mie analisi delle carte appunto.

LO SCHIERAMENTO
Come potete notare dal mio schieramento ho deciso di noleggiare qualche carta scarsa lol. Ho avuto la fortuna di trovare la giusta battaglia in pochissimo tempo e ho avuto modo di provare tutta la potenza di fuoco di questo elemento dello Splinter: I DRAGHI.
Sono partito noleggiando un evocatore diverso dal solito Drake of Arnak, anche se quest'ultimo è pur sempre un summoner molto rispettato e anche molto costoso a dire la verità. Mi sono buttato su Bizantyne Kitty, mi ispirava. Il suo alto costo in mana giustifica i suoi bonus.
Dopo di chè ho voluto noleggiare Robo-knight Dragon, Carnage Titan, Khaos Dragon e Desert Dragon. Andremo ad analizzare le nuove carte noleggiate qui sotto. A terminare il mio schieramento la solita Djinn Chwala e per riempire i due mana restanti ho inserito Scavo Chemist gold Foil, di cui sono proprietario ( lo so non vale tanto ma le carte dorato mi piacciono troppo).
LE REGOLE DEL COMBATTIMENTO
Limite Mana cap per la battaglia fissato a 60 punti. Possibilità di utilizzare soltanto carte degli splinter: Fuoco, Acqua, Vita, Morte e Drago.
LIMITAZIONE: Meele Mayhem ( i mostri con Meele Attack possono attaccare da ogni posizione).
Insomma ho trovato le condizioni perfette per scatenare tutta la mia potenza di fuoco. Ho avuto anche un pochino di fortuna, devo dire...
IL MIO SCHIERAMENTO
Quando la guardo dico : " WOW! " . Byzantine Kitty, summoner dell'elemento Drago. Costo in Mana 7 punti, credo sia una delle più alte in punti mana. Attenzione, attenzione, Signori e Signore, ci troviamo di fronte a tre abilità! La prima è fornire un +2 di velocità a tutti i mostri alleati. La seconda è True Strike. La terza è Tank-Heal, in pratica ad ogni turno aumenta di una porzione la salute del tank. Brillante, pazzesca. Costosissima, la si può prendere solo a noleggio perchè è davvero esosa. Il disegno della carta forse trae in inganno, la vedi tutta carina e paffuta... ma è una bestia!
Eccolo qui: Robo- Dragon Knight. Una bestia nel vero senso della parola. Costo in mana 11 punti. 3 punti Meele Attack, 3 punti Velocità, 8 punti Armatura, 9 punti Vita. Abilità: danno ridotto da attacco magico e Divine Shield ( al primo attacco avversario non subisce alcun danno).
Che dire... le statistiche parlano chiare: una fottuta bestia. Indomabile, non voglio neanche immaginare le statistiche ai livelli successivi, chi sa maxata al massimo cosa diventa...
Signori, Carnage Titan. Forse questa carta la conoscete un pò di più in quanto è stata protagonista dell'airdrop legato all'acquisto di pacchetti Chaos Legion... se non sbaglio è stato proprio l'ultimo. Io però, non potevo ancora partecipare all'airdrop ( infatti se non sbaglio servono 100 pacchetti aperti per poter partecipare - ps: ora ci sono arrivato ;) - ).
Costo in mana 11 punti. 2 Punti Attacco Meele, 3 punti Velocità, 7 punti Armatura e 8 punti vita. Ma, signori e signori, ancora deve arrivare il bello.
Possiede due abilità: può attaccare dalla seconda posizione e soprattutto attacca due volte ogni round. Una macchina da guerra. Mi gaso.
Beh... qui ci dobbiamo fermare un attimo e fare un applauso! Chaos Dragon: credo una delle carte più costose in termine di punti Mana dell'intero gioco. 3 punti Attacco Magico, 3 punti Velocità, 4 punti Armatura e 10 punti Vita. Una bestia. Ah... mi permetterete una cosa... quanto spacca il disegno della carta? Bellissimo!
Possiede due abilità: Volare e Scattershot. Scattershot permette al mostro di attaccare un bersaglio nemico casuale, quindi il bello è che non sai dove vanno a finire gli attacchi di Chaos Dragon! Una volta al tank avversario, una volta all'ultimo mostro del team e così via. Intrigante. Pauroso ed oscuro. Il drago del Chaos.
Di lei ne ho ampliamente parlato nei miei precedenti post legati a queste challenges e non voglio risultare ripetitivo e banale. Mi limito solo a dire che per me è una Regina.
Ah, le ho anche riscritto la Lore in uno dei miei articoli ;)
Eccolo qui, Desert Dragon. A primo impatto non vi fa impazzire vero? Fidatevi che è una carta micidiale se usata in determinate situazioni ;)
Soli 7 punti in termini di Mana. Ora qui devo fare una precisazione, la carta l'ho noleggiata con queste statistiche al LV 2 ma ovviamente avendo noleggiato un Byzantine Kitty al LV1 non ho potuto evocare Desert Dragon al livello 2. Quindi le stats restano le stesse tranne che per un punto in meno di Attacco Meele rispetto all'immagine e ad una abilità in meno rispetto all'immagine ( cioè Piercing). Però il design mi fa volare, cavolo stupenda.
Ma quanto è bello il mio Scavo dorato? Bellissimo! Chiude lo schieramento perchè non sapevo cosa mettere con 2 mana restanti: viva l'onestà ahahah
LA MIA STRATEGIA
Sembrerà strano da dire, ma la mia strategia è stata dettata dalle limitazioni de match. Appeno ho letto Mana Cap 60 punti e I mostri con attacco Meele possono attaccare da qualsiasi posizione, non ci ho pensato due volte. Byzantine Kitty per curare il tank e non farlo morire praticamente mai, aumentare la velocità di tutti per schivare gli attacchi e dare un true strike perfetto.
In prima posizione il tank Robo-Dragon Knight: resistente agli attacchi magici e con un divine shield, avrebbe incassato gli attacchi del tank avversario e poi l'avrebbe distrutto. In seconda posizione Carnage Titan, attacca due volte ottimo così. A seguire Chaos Dragon per creare scompiglio, non ha attacco Meele ma è una bestia e quindi doveva essere schierato. A seguire, in quarta posizione, Djinn Chwala che oltre ad attaccare avrebbe danneggiato i mostri avversari attaccanti con la sua abilità spine. Quinta posizione per Desert Dragon, una bestia. A chiudere uno Scavo Chemist a caso, lo ammetto.
La strategia non era molto studiata ma ovviamente prevedeva che tutti i mosti con Attacco Meele potessero attaccare. Speravo di non beccare come avversario Obsidian e la sua banda magica perchè sarebbe stato tutto diverso, probabimente avrei perso il match. Invece ho beccato un Taddius Brood e infatti non ha avuto un attimo di pace. Ho incassato pochi colpi, ne ho dati tanti.

LA MIA STRATEGIA HA FUNZIONATO?
Devo dire, innanzitutto, per onestà intellettuale, che sono stato molto fortunato. Non avevo calcolato tutte le possibile variabili ed avevo seriamente paura dell'unico Evocatore che non avrei potuto fronteggiare: cioè Obsidian con la sua banda magica. Avevo calcolato di poter giocarmela con tutti gli altri evocatori che sarebbe stato una Tarsa o un General Sloan, poco importava. Per fortuna Obsidian non si è materializzata.
La strategia ha funzionato alla grande perchè i miei mostri hanno colpito gli avversari come birilli. Carnage Titan con 2 colpi a round ha compiuto dei delitti perfetti. Desert Dragon con la sua abilità Travolgere ha distrutto due avversari uno dopo l'altro.
Devo ammettere che la strategia non è stata brillantissima, ma mi sono divertito molto nel provare queste nuove e potenti carte. L'obbiettivo di steemmonster infatti non è solo quello di dare un upvote per dare una mano ai creator, ma è proprio quello di far conoscere e provare nuove carte a tutti i players attraverso i loro contest!
