Hello all Hivers and Splinterlands friends, the subject of @steemmonsters weekly challenge is Regal Peryton.
REGAL PERYTON
Regal Peryton is a card from the Terra Splinter.
The Terra Splinter is by far my favourite Splinter. I use his cards a lot and I especially use Regal Peryton a lot. Unfortunately I don't have a very high level Regal Peryton card. That's because I started playing Splinterlands less than a year ago and mostly because I haven't invested crazy amounts of money in the game. I made an initial investment and then tried to maximise earnings with the opportunities the game often offers. Through the proceeds of my blogging activity I provide liquidity for all the Splinterlands projects.
Splinterlands is one of the strongest Splinters in the game, in my opinion. Regal Peryton, in combination with Obsidian is a card you absolutely have to field. Also because it possesses the ability to fly and this is definitely an extra quid.

THE DEPLOYMENT
My fielding is dictated by the Mana limit imposed by the limitations of battle. Only 15 Mana points, not much... true... but with the right cards you can aim to win!
As a summoner I chose Obsidian, one of the strongest summoners in the game in my opinion. This is because she simply offers a +1 magic attack point bonus to all monsters we field. Combine this with the magical strength of the Terra group and we're pretty much 1-0 ahead.
Next I chose to field, of course, Regal Peryton. I don't usually use him as a Tank, but given the low Mana available I had to. I usually use him in second or third position. Sometimes even in fifth if the battles are high Mana.
I chose 2 other cards with magic attack to complete the line-up: Queen Mycelia and Khmer Princess. Finally to close the games there is Fungus Fiend.
THE RULES OF COMBAT
Mana cap for battle set at 15 points. Only cards from the splinters: Fire, Earth, Death, and Dragon may be used.
LIMITATION: Healed Out (all healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners).
MY DEPLOYMENT
Summoner: Obsidian.
Obsidian is a true Lady of Magic from the Kingdom of Anumun. The Splinter Terra has a crushing summoner capable of providing a +1 magic attack bonus to all our deployed monsters. Obviously the right combination makes our deployment a powerful fire machine, which is unlikely to collapse before the opponent. In most battles we triumph, this is because, without any special limitations, the magic attack tends to go beyond the armour of the opponent's monsters and ends up directly hitting the health, creating great damage.
Regal Peryton
Let's look at the card: cost in mana 5 points; Magic Attack: 1 point; Speed: 5 points; Life: 6 points.
Skill: Flying (has a higher chance of dodging close or ranged attacks).
Regal Peryton is a fair compromise between a top card and a normal card, thanks to its ability it gains that extra quid that for me make it mandatory in the line-up.
Queen Mycelia
Queen Mycelia is a legendary card from the Terra group. I never miss it in battles. This is because apart from being cheap in terms of mana (only 4 points) it has the ability Protection: it provides 2 armour points to all allied monsters.
Khmer Princess
I have recently integrated this card into my deck. How did I manage without her? Unbelievable... costs only 2 mana and can be decisive under the right conditions.
Fungus Fiend: mana cost 0. Mandatory to close the deployment and armour the rear.
MY STRATEGY
The strategy is this: Exploit Obsidian and make my monsters beasts. All my monsters gain +1 magic attack. So their attack is doubled. Thanks to Queen Mycelia all my monsters gain +2 armour and this should protect them from Meele Attack and Ranged Attack, as the armour parries Meele blows and arrows.
Regal Peryton in first position can take advantage of his ability to fly and maybe dodge some melee attacks so I can see him in play as long as possible.
I have very little mana available, I essentially play with three monsters, but they have considerable firepower.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?
My strategy worked perfectly! Obsidian still proves to be one of the top choices when it comes to summoners of the Splinter of Terra!
Regal Peryton proved to be a solid tank, even if he collapsed under enemy blows during the second round. Despite this he allowed my team to take home the victory!
Queen Mycelia, as well as providing armour for everyone, was instrumental with her attacks. The armour she provided allowed me to avoid the Adversary Meele attacks.
Khmer Princess gave the finishing touches to the opposing monsters who certainly did not expect to find her.
Fungus Fiend did her worthy duty, protecting the line of attack.
In the end, I triumphed!
I repeat: Splinter Terra is by far my favourite!

Regal Peryton è una carta dello Splinter di Terra.
Lo Splinter Terra è in assoluto il mio Splinter preferito. Utilizzo molto le sue carte e soprattutto utilizzo molto Regal Peryton. Purtroppo non ho una carta Regal Peryton di livello molto alto. Questo perchè ho iniziato da meno di un anno a giocare a Splinterlands e soprattutto perchè non ho investito cifre folli nel gioco. Ho fatto un investimento iniziale e poi ho cercato di massimizzare i guadagni con le opportunità che offre il gioco spesso. Attraverso i ricavi della mia attività di blogging fornisco liquidità alle mie entrati in tutti i progetti di Splinterlands.
Lo Splinter Terra è uno, a mio parere, dei più forti Splinter di gioco. Regal Peryton, in combinazione con Obsidian è una carta da schierare assolutamente. Anche perchè possiede l'abilità volare e questo è sicuramente un quid in più.
LA BATTAGLIA

LO SCHIERAMENTO
Il mio schierato in campo è dettato dal limite di Mana imposto dalle limitazioni della battaglia. Soltanto 15 punti Mana, pochi.. è vero.. ma con le giuste carte si può puntare a vincere!
Come evocatore ho scelto Obsidian, una delle più forti evocatrici del gioco a mio parere. Questo perchè semplicemente offre un bonus di +1 punti attacco magico a tutti i mostri che schieriamo in campo. Combiniamo questo alla forza magica del gruppo Terra e siamo praticamente avanti di 1 a 0.
A seguire ho scelto di schierare, ovviamente, Regal Peryton. Di solito non lo uso come Tank, ma visto il basso Mana a disposizione ho dovuto farlo. Di solito lo uso in seconda o terza posizione. A volte anche in quinta se le battaglie sono a Mana elevato.
Ho scelto altre 2 carte con attacco magico per completare lo schieramento: Queen Mycelia e Khmer Princess. Infine a chiudere i giochi c'è Fungus Fiend.
LE REGOLE DEL COMBATTIMENTO
Limite Mana cap per la battaglia fissato a 15 punti. Possibilità di utilizzare soltanto carte degli splinter: Fuoco, Terra, VIta, Morte, e Drago.
LIMITAZIONE: Healed Out ( tutte le abilità di cura sono rimosse da Mostri ed Evocatori).
IL MIO SCHIERAMENTO
Evocatore: Obsidian.
Obsidian è una vera e propria Signora della Magia del Regno di Anumun. Lo Splinter Terra ha un evocatrice schiacciasassi capace di fornire un bonus di +1 attacco magico a tutti i nostri mostri schierati in campo. Ovviamente la giusta combinazione rende il nostro schieramento una potentissima macchina da fuoco, che difficilmente crolla davanti all'avversario. Nella maggior parte delle battaglie si trionfa, questo perchè tendenzialmente, senza limitazioni particolari, l'attacco magico oltrepassa l'armatura dei mostri avversari e finisce direttamente a colpire la salute creando grossi dannilì.
Regal Peryton
Osserviamo la carta: costo in mana 5 punti; Attacco Magico: 1 punti; Velocità: 5 punti; Vita: 6 punti.
Abilità: Volare ( ha una maggiore probabilità di schivare attacchi ravvicinati o a distanza).
Regal Peryton è un giusto compromesso tra una carta al top e una carta normale, grazie alla sua abilità acquista quel quid in più che per me lo rendono obbligatori nello schieramento.
Queen Mycelia
Queen Mycelia è una carta leggendaria del gruppo Terra. Io non la faccio mai mancare nelle battaglie. Questo perchè oltre ad essere conveniente in termini di Mana ( soli 4 punti) ha l'abilità Protezione: fornisce 2 punti armatura a tutti i mostri alleati.
Khmer Princess
ho da poco integrato questa carta nel mio mazzo di carte. Come ho fatto a stare senza di lei? Incredibile... costa soli 2 mana e può risultare decisiva nelle giuste condizioni.
Fungus Fiend: costo in mana 0. Obbligatorio per chiudere lo schieramento e blindare le retrovie.
LA MIA STRATEGIA
La strategia è questa: Sfruttare Obsidian e rendere i miei mostri delle bestie. Tutti i miei mostri acquisiscono +1 attacco magico. Quindi il loro attacco viene raddoppiato. Grazie a Queen Mycelia tutti i miei mostri acquisiscono +2 armatura e questo dovrebbe proteggerli da Meele Attack e Ranged Attack, in quanto l'armatura para i colpi meele e le frecce.
Regal Peryton in prima posizione può sfruttare la sua capacità di volare e magari schivare qualche attacco ravvicinato così da poterlo vedere in gioco più tempo possibile.
Ho pochi mana a disposizione, gioco essenzialmente con tre mostri, ma hanno una potenza di fuoco considerevole.

LA MIA STRATEGIA HA FUNZIONATO?
La mia strategia ha funzionato alla perfezione! Obsidian si dimostra ancora una delle primissime scelte quando si parla di evocatori dello Splinter di Terra!
Regal Peryton si è dimostrato un valido Tank, anche se durante il secondo round è crollato sotto i colpi avversari. Nonostante ciò ha permesso al mio team di portare a casa la vittoria!
Queen Mycelia, oltre a fornire l'armatura a tutti, è stata determinante con i suoi attacci. L'armatura da lei fornita mi ha permesso di evitare gli attacchi Meele Avversari.
Khmer Princess ha dato i colpi di grazia ai mostri avversari che di certo non si aspettavano di trovarla.
Fungus Fiend ha fatto il suo degno dovere, proteggendo la linea d'attacco.
Alla fine ho trionfato!
Ribadisco: lo Splinter Terra è in assoluto il mio preferito!
