Hello all Splinterlands and Hive friends. I have recently started this new project where I tell stories based on the Lore of Splinterlands and my own inventions, both of battles and cards. Let me know what you think.

pngegg_1_.png

The long journey home had begun. The three Humans, together with the gnome Supply, had set off to return to Lyveria. The journey was long and in some cases dangerous. But the Three Humans had the blessing of Kron The Undying and Spirit Of The Forest, so they would have nothing to fear... maybe...

Earth Elemental is a very special creature from the realm of Anumun. It can, in essence, change its form depending on the spatial context in which it is found. So it can be as much a tree as a lava flow. Depending on what he wants to be and the conditions of the land around him, he adapts and becomes what he wants. He could be called a shape-shifter.

"I see you fear. You have nothing to fear Humans," said Earth Elemental.

" Scared us? ahahah Sinder did you hear that? do we look scared?" said Finnerick.

" Come on, Finn... he's trying to make friends," replied Sinder.

" Friendship?! Are you kidding me? Did you see that?"

" Eh yes Finn, it's a tree that talks and walks. "

" Every day I pass outside Lyveria I realise how bizarre this kingdom we inhabit is.... Anumun... like nothing, wizards, goblins, talking trees, centaurs... who knows what more there is that we don't know, " Finnerick said.

" Humans, what are your names?" said Earth Elemental.

"I am Sinder, he is Finnerick, the one who never speaks is GInderuc, and finally, we have a gnome with a cart... you can call him Supply. What is your name?" answered Sinder.

"I have various human names. Depending on what I am I use a different name. Being a heart elemental, in the guise of a tree I choose to call myself Treebeard," he replied.

" Hey Treebeard! Hi, I'm Finn... Now though... how are you going to get us across the river?"

To Finn's question, Treebeard responded by stretching out his long, strong, coppery arms.

"Climb up Human!"

The three friends looked at each other, then made a sign of agreement with Supply Runner and climbed into Treebeard's arms without asking too many questions.

"There you are, come up higher so I can see you and we are all more comfortable," said Treebeard.

The three friends together with Supply Runner did so, but they had a problem... the cart.

"Where shall we put this?" said Finnerick pointing to the cart.

"Bring him here, tie him to me," said Treebeard.

So they did.

" Are you ready Humans?"

"Yes, we are ready. Let's go!" replied Sinder.

Treebeard made sure that everyone was secure in their places and stood up, rising fully into the air. From up there, the three friends had a wonderful view, they seemed to be able to see everything.

Slowly, Treebeard began to walk. Slowly. Tum Tum Tum. The steps were very wide, but the seating of the three Humans was not quite so steady.

"Hey... Dude! Hey! Could you not swing so much? Otherwise we'll go down in no time... and I don't think we won't feel any pain..." said Finnerick.

"Huh? Slower? Of course my friends,' replied Treebeard.

And so they slowed their pace. They got closer and closer to the river.

"Now, listen to me. The river is deep. I will have to dive. The water will not touch you but you will be very close to it. Do not fall into the water, mind you. All clear?"

"YES!" answered Finnerick and Sinder in chorus.

Treebeard dived into the water little by little, and step by step, his legs began to sink. Then his torso began to sink. He held his arms wide so that they did not end up in the water. The three friends were no more than 1 metre from the water.

"Are you all right Friends?"

"Yes all right Treebeard!" replied Sinder.

Slowly, step by step, Treebeard walked from one bank of the river to the other. The sound of footsteps could no longer be heard as he was now forced to walk in the water. To the humans, it almost sounded like sailing.

The river crossing did not take long, about 30 minutes.

Slowly, the group crossed the Sacred River and finally the opposite bank was about to be reached.

" Amicizia?! Mi prendi in giro? Ma l'hai visto? "

" Umani, come vi chiamate?" disse Earth Elemental.

Tu invece come ti chiami?" rispose Sinder.

" Ho vari nomi umani.

" Portatelo qui, legatelo a me" disse Barbalbero.

Così fecero.

" Siete pronti Umani?"

" Si, siamo pronti. Andiamo!" rispose Sinder.

Piano piano, Barbalbero iniziò a camminare. Lentamente. Tum Tum Tum Tum.
