I bicchieri

“Mitico Max!”
Freddo e leggero scorreva come acqua fresca.

...continua

One evening Luca goes down to take out the garbage, but when he tries to return to his house, on the 20th floor of a suburban building, he discovers that another person lives in his apartment and that his life, as it was until some moment before, it no longer exists. From this moment on, new and unexpected adventures begin for Luca, which mix with the memories of his old life.

The glasses

"Mythical Max!" We all complimented him and appreciated his mother's educational methods. Sweet Mrs. Angela, the name itself said, bore no grudge and hadn't even stopped him from coming to the bar again. Certainly at first she had filled it with a barrel using the broom with which she was about to clean up the balcony. After having vented, let's say about fifteen escarpments in the ass, fucks in the head and a suitable number of connected bruises, afterwards, she had proved happy after all for the danger escaped by her beloved son.
"Fuck Max, but you just had to turn the key, you can't handle alcohol, you're a pussy!"
Elena? Elena looked at them both as one looks at a killer who still has the knife dripping blood in his hands. I met his gaze and it seemed to say - "Good thing at least you're not like these yokels!" - at least I understood that from her pitch-black eyes staring at me.
Day after day I began to realize that for me Elena had some extra attention, still in her silence interspersed only with - "Here are the pizzas!", "Who asked for a Naples?", "Who are medium beers for?" - nothing really exciting.
Often, however, I found myself following her movements in the middle of the room and her gestures conveyed a grace that was absolutely out of place and out of time.
That evening, our evening, the company was full, we even had a small room, a secluded area, where there was room for a single table with twenty seats which we almost completely filled. I don't remember what was celebrated, one, maybe two birthdays. For the occasion we even had the trio of glasses. The glass for wine, a brut flute that we used to drink pink pinot, the glass for water that we used to drink pink pinot and the glass for sparkling wine, identical to that for wine, that we used to drink pink pinot. Rivers of pink pinot. Many rivers. Accustomed to beer and pizza, we were unable to correctly evaluate the strength of the pink pinot. Cold and light it flowed like fresh water. It was pink pinot though, not watered down beer, so it had its cute side effects negligently not highlighted on the label.
The pizzeria was a "pizzeria with kitchen", but it was written so much for, they could also write a hotel. In fact, they had also written that, "Albergo Pizzeria Marechiaro with kitchen", except that there were only three rooms, as was inferred from a numbered panel behind the cash desk. The hotel guests had never seen each other, however. Probably if one had arrived, the key to the room would not even have been found, in fact there were numbers, there were hooks, but the keys on the wooden panel were completely missing.
