Gara #16 – Rolex Sakhir, Barhain
Un saluto a tutti,
Seconda gara consecutiva in Barhain, su questa veloce pista il cui tracciato però viene modificato, rendendola più corta e con una velocità media sui giro ancora più alta. Restano i tre lunghi rettilinei, ma si perde tutta parte guidata all’interno.
Da segnalare la mancanza del campione del mondo Lewis Hamilton, risultato positivo al COVID-19. Dal punto di vista sportivo possiamo anche dire “poco male”, siccome ha già vinto il campionato piloti, e la Mercedes quello costruttori.
Sarà sicuramente una gara diversa, dove il risultato sarà meno scontato del solito.

Parlando della gara precedente, da ricordare sicuramente lo spettacolare e pauroso incidente che ha coinvolto Grosjean con la sua Haas. Uscito di pista a oltre 220 km/h ha sfondato le barriere di protezione, la sua auto si è spezzata in due e ha preso fuoco. Lui uscito “illeso” sulle sue gambe dall’abitacolo in mezzo alle fiamme. Una menzione particolare alla sicurezza delle vetture e alla loro progettazione in questo senso, ottimo l’HALO e il sistema di ritenuta del casco.
Per la classifica, ha vinto il solito Hamilton davanti a Verstappen, sfortunato Perez che poteva arrivare terzo, ma dopo il cedimento del suo motore, ha dovuto lasciare la posizione ad Albon sulla seconda RedBull. Prestazione deludente le due Ferrari. Grande prestazione di Sainz, che il prossimo anno andrà ufficialmente a sostituire Vettel alla Ferrari.
Per quanto riguarda il nostro concorso, più sotto potete vedere i risultati dell’ultima gara e la nostra classifica generale.
Quattro concorrenti hanno indovinato i primi due posti del podio, mentre in tre hanno centrato solamente il vincitore. Premi scarsi questa volta, il post non ha riscontrato molto successo purtroppo. Speriamo nelle ultime due gare per incassi maggiori.

Race #16 – Rolex Sakhir, Barhain
Hello everybody,
Second consecutive race in Barhain, on this fast track whose layout is however changed, making it shorter and with an even higher average lap speed. The three long straights remain, but all the internal part is lost.
Of note is the absence of the world champion Lewis Hamilton, who tested positive for COVID-19. From a sporting point of view, we can also say “never mind”, as it has already won the drivers' championship, and Mercedes the constructors' one.
It will certainly be a different race, where the result will be less obvious than usual.

Speaking of the previous race, the spectacular and frightening accident involving Grosjean with his Haas is certainly worth mentioning. When he went off the track at over 220 km / h he broke through the safety barriers, his car broke in two parts and caught fire. He came out "unharmed" on his legs from the cockpit in the middle of the flames. A special mention to the safety of the cars and their design, the HALO and the helmet restraint system are excellent!
For the classification, Hamilton won as usual ahead of Verstappen, unlucky Perez who could have finished third, but after the breakdown of his engine, he had to leave the position to Albon on the second Red Bull. Disappointing performance the two Ferraris. Great performance by Sainz, who will officially replace Vettel at Ferrari next year.
