Se siete stati a Strasburgo o più comunemente in Germania meridionale vi sarete di certo accorti che un sacco di case sono ancora in legno e sembrano senza tempo. Questo perchè alcuni dipartimenti regionali hanno sancito come legge che queste case sono patrimonio del paese e di conseguenza le parti in legno non possono essere demolite. Penserete ora che è una cosa bella per salvare e tramandare la storia e per un certo senso è così, ma non vi rendete conto di quanti incendi ci siano ogni santa settimana per colpa di queste case. Salvaguardare il patrimonio di una Nazione è importante ma forse si può fare anche in un altra maniera. 👍

If you have been to Strasbourg or more commonly in southern Germany you will certainly have noticed that a lot of houses are still wooden and look timeless. This is because some regional departments have enshrined as a law that these houses are heritage of the country and as a result the wooden parts can not be demolished. You'll think now that it's a beautiful thing to save and pass on history, and in a way it is, but you don't realize how many fires there are every holy week because of these houses. Safeguarding the heritage of a nation is important, but perhaps it can also be done in another way. 👍
